I have been using smart plugs to program lights around my home for a while. The Aoycocr Smart Plug is very easy to set up and connect to my network. It automatically got recognized by Amazon Alexa so I can control it with verbal commands. Great product.

Easy-ish setup. You need a 2.4 wifi network to use these which may be difficult if your router does not allow you to have a split wifi of 2.5 and 5 Ghz. The app integration with Google Home is nice and simple, but the Google Home app doesn't have all the features that SmartLife does so I use SmartLife by default for schedules and Google Home for quick verbal controls.After two years of consistent use, two of the plugs died, as in, they would disconnect from the wifi router (which I thought was an issue with my wifi extender). I would reset the switches and they would work fine after a few weeks, but then they would disconnect again sporadically, thus leaving lights on all night.After a couple months of resetting (still thinking it was a wifi router issue), I tried using the bad switches in other parts of my home with better wifi connection and now they fail to pair at all.Great for apartment usage, not great after a couple of years if you got unlucky like me.

I didn't like that I had to download their software to set them up for Alexa. I use them for controlling household lights.

Cheap and unreliable quality. One of them never worked from the start. So I paid full price for three of these outlets. Then one of them died after a few months or so and it was only controlling a living room light that was connected to Alexa and was scheduled to turn the light on every day at a certain time then turn it off at night at a certain time 7 days a week.We were in the living room when the light kicked in one afternoon but then it turns off then 5 seconds later it turns on again but then turns off. This on and off process repeated itself non-stop so I just unplugged this outlet and tossed it. When I hear the relay kick in on the inside of these things, it just sounds so cheap and rickety. They must use the cheapest quality relays that they could find because this one in the living room could not stay connected to keep the light on.I regret not contacted the seller in the beginning about that one dead on arrival outlet but let it go because I bought another four pack of smart outlets from a different seller that were a much better brand and better quality so I just let it go.You can take a chance on buying these but don't expect them to last for very long. I would not recommend these here or any other ones similar in design to them because they probably all use the same cheap parts. Spend a little more and get outlets with a higher amperage rating and don't have reviews like the one I'm writing here.

I need to talk to customer service and cannot find the info on the product page. This little switch had been working great until today. Now, when plugged in, whether a light is plugged into it or not, the switch power cycles continuously every 2-3 seconds. I have unplugged and left for several minutes and tried again, with same results. Happens on multiple outlets and holding the power button for 10 seconds, etc, does not help.Product page indicates a 2 year warranty. We purchased in Jan 2023. How do I go about getting replacement? Please respond. :)

I use it to switch on and switch off an HDMI splitter

I have used 2 of them for a year now and not had any problems. The other 2 have broken with in the past 2 months. Its great when it works but two of them breaking almos immediately upon use is upsetting.

I bought my first Aoycocr smart plugs in 2019 to set up voice command activation for bar lights in my man cave. They were easy to set up and automatically integrated with Alexa after the initial set up. Since then I've bought them twice more and set them up on a routine schedule for outdoor and indoor lights. Great to have the ability to turn things on and off when you aren't home! The cost is quite reasonable and they have all worked great. You simply download their app, set up the plugs through it, then go to your Alexa app and it automatically recognizes the plugs. The. You simply create whatever routine you want there, i.e. voice activation, timer or manual. I'm pretty technically challenged and even I found this to be a breeze. I'd highly recommend them.

En comparación con otros enchufes inteligentes, este pierde muy fácilmente la conexión Wifi. Es latoso estar frecuentemente reconfigurarlo.

Muy buenos contactos inteligentes, los adquirí para controlar mis luces de Navidad, son muy fáciles de instalar desde la aplicación smartlife y también rápidamente lo reconoció mi echo studio, ahora todo lo controlo por voz o si estoy fuera por medio de mi celular.

La verdad es que es muy facil configurarlos y hacerlos trabajar con Alexa, lo único que se debe cuidar es que exista una red WiFi de 2.4, no acepta de 5 ni de bi-banda

Cumplen con lo señalado y resultan ser muy prácticos, sobre todo en Navidad para programar todos los adornos y el árbol, desde el celular.
