Fits and works perfectly with RX100V7
I am so happy I got this for my RX100V7! Fit is perfect and solid. I was concerned about restricted control access from some of the reviews I read here but can say that in my case no restrictions were observed. I did add a stick-on shutter button which fits perfectly. I also wasn't sure if I would like a wood grip, but it feels great/secure in my hand and I have warmed up to it. SmallRig makes all top-shelf stuff and this cage is no exception to that. It does add some heft and size but makes up for it in strides in functionality and security.

Ergonomic and safety for my beloved, yet fragile, camera
A well thought-out design to support the fragility of the Sony RX100 VII. My most concerns when carrying this wonderful camera have been how I could protect it better while carrying out in the field to shoot and let it sit on coffee table at breaks. I thought about something like this Smallrig and Amazon has presented this one. After reviewing images and other customers' reviews, I quickly decided the purchase. I also love the wood tone handle. It adds 'life' to this tool, I feel comfortable holding the handle. Packing, boxing is professional, well done.I also thanks Amazon.com for giving me (and perhaps to other customers) opportunity and the convenience purchase on line, fast delivery, save me costly trips to the local store, plus mostly no hassle return. This rig will stay fit permanently on my camera. I would highly recommend to Sony owners.

Adds big features to a small camera.
Two cold shoes, twenty 1/4 × 20 screw mounts, access to all hatches & buttons and a grip worthy of a DSLR, what's not to like? Well, one minor thing.I would like to see a tab that could mount the cage to the camera's 1/4 ×20 mount, to make it a bit more secure than the clamp around the lens.Overall this is a robust little unit. Now it's time to stock up on accessories to hang onto it!

Almost perfect but…
Didn’t quite fill my hand up like I had hoped but didn’t make it better and offers some protection. Additionally, it’s a little annoying to hit the power/shutter button, however a major part of that annoyance is the design of the camera too.

Great Purchase
This Smallrig fits snugly with my Sony RX100 VI. The Smallrig cage wraps around the lens mount of the Sony RX100 VI. It comes with an Allen wrench to tighten the cage to the camera. The Smallrig wooden handle provides extra grip that is comfortable and makes it easier to use the camera as a handheld device. I often attach my camera to a tripod and attach a mic and a light to the Sony RX100 VI. The Smallrig cage has several cold shoe mounts for accessories. At first, the cage made my Sony RX100 VI bulky and reduced the aesthetics, but I find the camera to be much easier to use with the Smallrig cage on.

Smallrig is a seriously good brand!
I have purchased various Smallrig accessories. For my small Sony cameras as well as my many GoPros. Smallrig offers a lot of good products for a reasonable price. This cage fit my Sony perfectly and helps keep it protected and allows me to mount the Smallrig handle as well as large light. They are a solid brand!

Great Product
I was extreamly apprehensive about this product, but, I had to find something because for me, my camera is small in my big hands. I did research on many items like this, but this one was the one with the best results from all my research.I love it. Not only does it do everything as advertised, but, it allows me to get a firm grip on the camera. Well worth the money, highly recommended.

I got it for my Sony RX100 VII
I got it for my Sony RX100 VII.It fits perfectly, but in the upper part the buttons are difficult to access. The wheel to select one of the many close-up shooting modes cannot be used, and the on/off button is covered over 20%, so if you don't have thin fingers, you have a problem with on-offThe quality of the material is very good.It is not as ergonomic as I expectedThe wooden handle should have been wider and deeper
