Love these things!Because of the design I can install them on my Jeep and tighten them down so you need tools to remove them. This helps prevent theft as I have a few stolen of other brands.No need to remove them as I have soft shackles I use to connect to them.So they just stay on my Jeep all the time.

The quality is top with these D Ring Shackles. I ordered them for my Bronco to give the front end a tough look. Really like they come with plastic pads so they do not slide around.

I sometimes go places I really shouldn't in my Subaru. Wanted a sure way to recover if need be. Subaru has two frame mounted tow points underneath in a rather hard to access spot. Holes are 7/8 (22mm) but you'll never get a 7/8 shackle pin mounted so, 3/4 (19mm) saves the day!Looks good, comes with rubber washers to reduce "clank, clank", built like a tank (tank). Expensive for what you're getting but the less time laying in the mud trying to hook a tow strap up the better - will be worth every penny next time common sense gets overridden by the desire to see what's just up over the next rise.Safety note - never, ever use the "tow truck hook" that the Subie's come with to unstick one from the mud. If you are loading it on a trailer slow and steady, no problem but you'll probably pull it straight out of the bumper and implant it in the tow vehicles window if you try to snatch one out of the mud - don't ask how I know...

UPDATE: 7/5/25- customer service reached out to me after my original review. Updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars . They explained the cause of color fade and made things right with me (by their own choice!). Thank you for the great service. I would purchase from them again.After 10 months, the red has faded so bad they almost look like a bubble gum redish pink. Nothing compared to the dark red they once were. These will be taken off most definitely. What a shame.

With everything coming from China you never know what you're going to get. With these clevis/shackles I was pleasantly surprised. These seem solid and well built, only time and use will tell, but the dimensions and tolerances were spot on. These have a 1-1/4" opening to fit nicely onto the draw bar of my tractor. Reviews of other products mentioned this and I'm glad these worked. I have another set of these and they don't quite fit although the description said it would. I am a happy customer. Thank you!
