I often go through these types of trimmer quickly. They're usually great for around six months, then either fail, or start pulling hair while trimming. Thus far (roughly a year), this one has continued to work flawlessly. I prefer that it uses a conventional battery, as I always keep rechargeables in reserve, and I don't have to worry about the battery dying. I also was fooled at first. This one runs quieter, and at a lower audible frequency than others I've used. I thought it didn't have much power, but the results say otherwise. Quite pleased with this purchase.

The extended shaver works great. It does take practice. Using the wider attachment is a little hard on my skin, once I got used to it. It worked great. I would give it a 4 STAR. I did purchase three other items at the same time. The head shaver, the ear & nose trimmer, and the body groomer. The body groomer works good But it did pull a few hairs. So it too, requires practice. I would give it a 4 STAR. The nose and ear trimmer SUCKS ASS!!! Don’t buy. For that trimmer, don’t waste your energy buying it. It will disappoint. I would not give a 1 STAR. Later on I purchased some Bluetooth Wi-Fi smart tweezers, they work great with my cell phone for my nose and ear hairs. Next the body trimmer it works great while giving a good shave real close to your balls. Most of all it takes practice. So take your time. An electric shaver near my balls is kind of scary. Especially when it pulls a hair or two and it did. I would give the body trimmer a 4 STAR. Now for the complaints, you already know how I feel about the nose trimmer. Next The head shaver I used it once, Then it died and never worked again and that sucks because I liked it. I would give it a 4.5 STAR. But It quit working so a 1 STAR, unless you have a head trimmer that keeps working then it’s a 4.5 STAR. Well, I hope the company MANGROOMER. Takes care of me on their platinum pro edition’s. If not I’ll never change this post. But I was told that if you have a problem, man-groomer wants you to contact them directly. So they can take care of it for you. I don’t know. I will give it a try. I only ask because I am over my return time with Amazon. Like I was only going to use the head shaver twice a year. But after the first time I used it, it died. After all I bought the Platinum Pro Edition by Man-Groomer shaver and trimmers. So I expected it to work as advertised it was the best they had. I will post a new statement if they take care of me as a loyal customer thank you. Good luck.

The 2 blades are too small for some arras. Well made, but not a good design. The 2 blades arre not as good as a little larger single blade. Would not recommend.

Easy to use, close cut, good design seems durable, good buy.

It feels cheaply made & the 2 blades are on the sides of a black plastic bar, so unless you angle it a certain way it will NOT trim your hairs at all. It is definitely NOT worth 20 bucks, if it was cheaper I would add more stars to this review. Now it’s not to say it completely doesn’t work, I do like the all in one design because a lot of trimmers you have to switch out attachments to trim nose hairs etc. If it didn’t feel cheaply made & the blades were centered as old school phillips with a lower price tag this would easily be a 5 star review.
