The color is a little different from the picture, but it's even more gorgeous than I was expecting. I love the shiny threads that show through. It doesn't show that on the picture, but it added more color which makes the piece more striking. It's not really a cuddle blanket, which it wasn't suppose to be, but so many people are rating it one star for softness. It's meant to be a tapestry or a decorative piece. I wanted to add color to my futon, which it does a great job at. If you want a cuddle blanket, order a fleece blanket. This is just gorgeous and meant to show your love for Harry Potter.

I mean..... i can’t believe how beautiful this thing looks on my wall (well not in my wall because it’s a gift so i can’t actually post a pic right now) but i hung it over my banister and now i’m very tempted to keep this. Like another reviewer stated, this one has sparkle woven through it so it’s sort of oh i don’t know, MAGICALLY GLISTENS!! And you guys, don’t buy this as a blanket! it’s meant to be hung, i wouldn’t even use it as a throw because you can’t appreciate it unless it’s hung up! Just my opinion

This blanket is super cute! The metallic threads in it add so much to the look of it. It is dry clean only, so keep that in mind if not being able to machine wash will bother you. I put mine in the dryer on air fluff with dryer sheets which really helped soften it up. It's very lightweight. The quality seems very good. I'm very happy with this blanket.

Bought this for my daughter who loves Harry Potter...she loved it. The only issue is it gets snagged very easily and isn't very soft, so if you are looking to use this as a blanket...I wouldn't recommend. Although, it makes a great decorative throw or wall decor.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend who loves harry potter and she loved it! It's not as soft as a blanket since it's meant more for decoration rather than actual blanket use, but it's still great quality.********* If you do decide to purchase this item, keep in mind it's more for decoration since it's a tapestry before you come back and rate it one star.

As a big Harry Potter fan this blanket was a no brainer for my family. However, you should know that it does have metallic fabric weaved into it which makes it a bit itchy. My daughter has a condition that makes her sensitive to "scratchy" material and she doesn't like the feel of it on her. Great looking, but comfort quality could have been better.

This picture does not depict the product. It's not as clear and it has metallic gold woven through it.

Must have for all Harry Potter fans. Tassels are a bit scratchy but gives it an authentic look.

I absolutely love this blanket. I got it to use at a festival about 2 months ago, and it worked great.

the weave is loose and the crest is not clear. the materials are scratchy and there is a weird metallic tinsel looking thread through it and it's DRY CLEAN ONLY!

My Pothead friend (Potterhead is correct I know, but I like Pothead better lol) had moved into her very first studio apartment, and it was her birthday. I got her this.

Looks great but DO NOT LET YOUR CAT SCRATCH THIS UP. THEY MIGHT EAT PIECES OF THE THREAD AND TINSEL AND GET SICK.
