I appreciate how sturdy and powerful this zapper is. Provides a pleasant light in the evening and lets us to enjoy our balcony again without being eaten alive by bugs!!! This lamp works great and is safe to have on with our children and dog nearby. Definitely recommend it, and it looks current!

This thing is great!
It’s a bit pricey but if you read the reviews for cheaper versions, lots of “escapes”. This one seems pretty well made, and I’ve had zero escapes. My chicks are old enough to be outside but not big enough to be with the other chickens. This is the perfect thing to get them out of the brooder for the day, and to have them near the other girls safely. It’s great. Easy to put up and away. Great buy.

Love it! PERFECT but w/ considerations
I use this for my teeny tiny 6oz hens when I’m working in the yard & am there to watch over them before taking them back indoors. They love to eat clover & soak up some sun! It lets plenty of sun in, but NO MOSQUITOES! Mosquitoes spread fowl pox, so I know my tiny hens are safe from mosquitoes. This run is so light & practical for moving around the yard & keeping the girls near me that I call it their playpen. Loving the openings on top too! No worry about them running thru a side door if I try to get a hen out. I just reach in from above & never have to worry about escapes. It’s not predator proof, but I’d never leave the girls unattended anyway. It’s escape proof for my serama hens & keeps them free of mosquitoes & is simply the easiest way to move them around the yard for outdoor time while I’m gardening or just watching them play. I had a lot of mixed feeling buying this run, but am SO GLAD I DID! But if anyone thinks they can use this & not stay close & watch over whatever animal is in this run, they’ll risk the animal getting attacked by predator birds, dogs, cats, or raccoons, or something. And if the animal digs under the edge, or is able to tear netting, it’ll escape & could get lost. But for my little chickens it is perfect for them to play in near me while I garden. If I’d gotten something made of metal & wood, it would’ve been heavier & awkward for the way I use this. It truly depends on what you need & how much un-supervised protection you need for your animal. This would also function perfectly for a lettuce patch or something in the garden to keep moths & flying bugs from munching on the food growing inside the net. The top openings are perfect for gardening use like this & net lets enough sun & all the rain in to the plants. I take mine inside w/ me & it folds flat & is easily put away so it’ll last a long, long time. I love the ground anchors that came w/it too. Stands up to wind very well. Net is thin but not wimpy at all. Zippers are good ones. Anchors are strong & perfect size metal stakes that don’t need a hammer. I just step on them. I use a child’s butterfly net to quickly transfer my hens from the run to their kitty carrier for easy trip back indoors. Best little portable “playpen” I could have found for my needs! But keep in mind that 6oz full grown hens are size of kittens & do not dig under the sides or hurt the run materials w/ climbing or chewing & aren’t strong like ferrets or older puppies or kittens. It really depends on how you intend to use this whether it’s right for you, & whether you’ll be there to keep your pet protected from any predator that discovers an animal in the run. It will NOT protect my hens from predators other than mosquitoes! That is my job. But it is absolutely perfect for a playpen for my hens. Works to separate a mama hen & her eggs/chicks from other hens too while still allowing them all to see & know the new babies for future flock integration.

Awesome except for stakes
The ground in my backyard is pretty hard. Didn’t like the stakes that came with this at all, the metal bent super easily when I was trying to sink it in and I had to throw the stakes away. I got some basic plastic camping/tent stakes on Amazon for $10 and they work wayyyyyy better. Unless you have soft soil and not much wind, you’ll prob want to buy some plastic stakes. I lost two of my quail with this thing because of the original metal stakes. :’(I use it as a quail run for my coturnix quail. I put them in there when I’m. Leaning out their coop or when it’s just a nice day and I have time to give them a little fresh grass/full sunWill say overall it’s very sturdy. Doesn’t seem like it would tear or rip easily at all. The zippers for both of the openings on the top are very sturdy as well. Folds up easily

Awesome portable chicken run!
As a new chicken mom, I was looking for a secure portable chicken run to complement my new coop which has a very small run. We have many predatory birds that fly over our property. Because this was my first year with chickens, I decided to try to keep new projects to a minimum and not build a run this year.Pros:Very well made for a portable chicken run. Mesh side and top are well made. The mesh is actually it is thicker and nicer than the mesh used in portable cribs.I used it with my baby chicks this weekend and initially I was worried they'd be able to crawl underneath the run but with the stakes in and pulled taught there was no gap on the ground. The run is very sturdy when staked down and held it's shape with some pretty strong wind gusts. There is enough height and length to house several chickens and let them feast on different areas of the yard.It is a great way to safely introduce your other pets to the chickens.I love that it stores flat and I can tuck it between the house and patio furniture.Con:The only thing I might consider to be a potential problem would be the mesh itself. My concern would be that a chicken could get stuck in the mesh - unlikely, but possible.Final Thoughts:Due to the cost of hardware cloth and wood as well as the time to make a portable run I consider this a win.I highly recommend this run and for the price, portability and convenience.

Rustic colors and great quality!
I was afraid that the colors would be too bright and not a rustic look. However, its perfect and great quality too. Planning to hang on a garage.

Great for giving chicks time outside
I purchased this to get a batch of chicks used to being outside. Very easy to set up, but I wouldn’t use this for really young birds as there’s just a bit of a gap where the loops used to secure it to the ground are. First time I used it I was working outside and could watch them enjoy the extra space. I would not use this if I weren’t outside with them because we have raccoons, hawks and stray cats on our property, but this seems to be holding up well and I’ll definitely use it for my next group of chicks, too.

Worth the purchase
I've been hesitating buying the larger quantity and slowly building up stock from the dollar store. Those work out to be over $1 each. These are the better buy. Kids and I paint them, the white it a great base.

Very light now and way more accurate in the dirty parks here in Edmonton much less digging crap.
From having the 9 by 11. I’m just trying to get used to the smaller sized coil the less weight takes some getting used to. But way more accurate in the dirty parks. Way less Digging. More finds.
