Taylor Made Products 57926 Charlevoix Boat Flag Clip , Black

Although the main description of this item on Amazon reads: "Taylor Made Products 57926 Charlevoix Boat Flag Clip , Black"... This should read: CLIPS (plural). It's a single package, but you get TWO Clips inside the manufacturers package. I've attached photos to support this.I previously ordered a Flag Pole with US Flag kit from another retailer, but manufactured by Taylor Made, which included a US Flag, a 3 Foot 3/4" aluminum pole and these Charlevoix clips. I plan on mounting this flag and pole to my Honda Goldwing Motorcycle. Keep in mind, these clips are nylon and are rated up to 50 MPH attached to a flag on a pontoon boat. I plan on pressing the limits of these clips. I'm not quite sure if the clips will simply break after 50 MPH or the circular clip portion that goes through the brass grommets on the flag will just straighten out and become unattached from the flag. The actual direct wind speed hitting the flag behind my motorcycle in an air pocket, might not ever reach 50 MPH. Time will tell. They are made of nylon and not plastic, so they do have some flexibility in them. Otherwise, these clips should do the trick for your application if needing to use these for standard flag flying use on a boat or wherever you plan on using them.

Flag has ratchet type pole grip makes the flag secure on pole.

The clips are holding the 12x18 flag onto the light pole behind my boat. The clips are tight and working quite well with the wind behind the boat. Occasionally the clips do slide but have not come off the pole. I am happy with this purchase.

Works great for me

There is a difference between diameter and circumference, that is what I think must be happening on some posts as I see these being claimed to work on pole diameters that mine will not work on. I like to fly my flag on my rear support stanchion for my Bimini top. These originally worked pretty good. When I purchased a boat lift with a canopy I replaced my rear Bimini stanchion with adjustable ones so I could lower my top when raising the boat. These do no fit on the lower portion of the adjustable stanchion poles. I have to raise my top once off the lift and connect these to the thinner top portion of the pole. I have noticed that as I do this each time these clips are losing their resistance and are easier to remove. There are times when they have slid down collapsing my flag.

I was wanting a flag on the boat. This turned my night pole mounted indicator on top of my Bimini into a flag pole less than a minute. Easy to use, very secure....and cheap. Glad I went this direction on it. Its designed for round poles and won't work on square at all.

Wanted to attach a flag to the stern nav light. These fit perfectly, installed easily and hold the flag. No idea yet on durability but they're pretty cheap so if they only last a season, big deal.
