I received these clippers much faster than I expected to. I purchased these clippers because I had to use both hands with my other ones and even then my clippers would not always clip my dogs' nails. Many of the nails were left rough and raggedy. When I cut my 80 pound German Shepherd's nails with these clippers, I started laughing. It was like cutting butter. I have never had such an easy time clipping nails. These clippers smoothed out and cleaned up the mess I had made of my Border Collie'Mix's nails, 1, 2, 3. I am positive both my dogs appreciate them also. With the stainless steel blade, I would imagine these clippers will keep their sharp edges and not get dull like every other pair of clippers I have purchased in my lifetime. I am 65 years old and I have had a number of dogs over that time and plenty of clippers. I feel sorry for the dogs whose owners have not yet found these clippers. I loaned them to my girlfriend and she has not given them back yet. I believe she will probably be order a pair for herself, I mean for her four dogs. Great, great product. Thank you. Mary Jane

First off, this is not a paid review or anything of the sort. I actually never bother to write these, but sure do appreciate all you other folks that do! These clippers are really the best. I have a 14year old medium sized girl and her nails are black. I've never had to bother with clippers because we're active and they tend to keep themselves pretty short. This year her activity level plummeted, her age finally caught up to her. Well our walks went from twice a day to maybe twice a week. her nails have gotten to the point where they click the hardwood and most recently I even think she's stepping on her front feet a little tenderly because of them. In the last few months I've purchased two other pairs of clippers and being the amateur that I am, couldn't have been more freaked out. One pair wasn't nearly tough enough and the second pair got caught on itself and wouldn't release or cut the nail. I had to break them to get it to release. Of course shes in complete panic mode having her nails done so the poor performance of the clippers sure didn't help matters much. From reviews and a little youtube action I decided on these. One, for the quick guard seeing as her nails are much too long now; and the hopeful trust that what I was reading and seeing was in fact truthful assessments of the clippers. IT WAS! It's all true and these are perfect. With some confidence and fast assertive cuts I trimmed her nails easily and fast with out fighting her. A little soft talk and making sure I felt in control really helped. They snipped her nails EASILY and after the first cut I was moving through with ease and she was good with it. I took the tip off, used the quick guard and will wait another 2 weeks to do a little more. I'm still unsure of how far the quick can travel but I read somewhere that the longer the nail the longer the quick; as the nail recedes so does the quick. I know that bleeding isn't a tragic thing and a little cornstarch stops it right away; but none-the-less I'd like to do it the right way for her. All in all, just get these first and don't waste your money elsewhere.

I have a pup that makes life hell to trim her nails. I bought one of those grinder ones and they work great for pups that let you trim their nails and not afraid of the noise. This clipper is sharp and has the guard so you don't clip too short. No noise. I am able to quickly cut her nails. Not all at once, but one at a time when she is not aware. You have to be fast and the guard helps you to swoop in and quickly do a clip. The guard has to be pushed in a bit to not trim off too much. But they work. Be fast at it.

This product works very well. Holds in the hand perfect, have good safety features and sharp as claimed. I would Recommend to anyone to buy this product. Very satisfied. Wanted to update the review: 12/4/15 I bought this Clippers about a year before. I have never clipped the nails for a dog at that time. Looked at the video and used these clippers carefully and slowly. From that on I have used this many times and learnt how to do it. Feel very comfortable now. This product works so good even now and very easy to use. I just wanted to post this again as I felt it was / is worth the money.

WOW! We bought these after struggling with a pair of Martha Stewart brand toe nail clippers for over a year. Our beagle HATED having his nails clipped before, I've never made him bleed, and I realized the clippers we were using may have been the problem. I bought these clippers, and have used them 4 times for each of our dogs (a beagle and a 90lb golden retriever). They work great for both nail densities, and have no problem cutting the nail quickly. Our golden's nails used to crack or slightly splinter sometimes when I used the old clippers, but have not seen any of that with these! Our beagle has been less concerned with me cutting his nails and I am so grateful that we found this product so both dog and human can get this job over with ASAP!

These nail clippers are extremely sharp and cut quickly and evenly. I have purchased a few nail clippers before and have never had them work as well as these do.

These feel more secure and stronger than my last pair. The only thing I don't like is the safety clip in back does not sit between the blades like my old one did...it sits just to one side so you have to get the nail up against one blade before the safety will stop it from going to far through the hole. My last set, the safety sat in between the two blades so there was no way to go too far.

Love these claw clippers. I have two Golden Retrievers with quite thick claws who really do not like having them clipped so when I used the clippers the first time it was nice to find that they fitted my hand nicely and were easy to use ,strong and most importantly sharp so the job was over with quickly and efficiently. They have a good grip which makes them comfortable and do an excellent job. Would highly recommend.

Je suis assez étonné par la qualité, c’est une bonne surprise. J’ai eu un peu peur de tester sur mon chien mais c’est fait et ça fonctionne par contre attention à minimiser la coupe de l’ongle du chien car il faut pas couper trop court

Eine sehr hochwertige Schere, sehr scharf, sehr handlich und und verarbeitet. Mein Hund hat sehr feste Krallen, aber mit dieser Schere ist es kein Problem, sie ist so scharf es wird auch keine Kralle gequetscht beim schneiden. Das ist schon meine zweite, habe eine verschenkt.
