The outlet fitting is just dropped in the container. You have to drill the hole to put it in on whatever end you want to put it. To put the fitting in the hole you drilled take a piece of stiff wire about 18" fish it through the lid hole and through the drilled hole. Place the fitting on the wire with one O-ring and bend an 'L' in the wire and pull the fitting through the hole. Place the other O-ring and nut on the outside. Tighten the nut while holding it with a pair of plyers.

Replaced the tank that was shipped broken on my silvel diesel heater. I made sure to drill the smallest hole possible and drill the hold as close as I could towards the center of the jug to provide a more stable and thick edge to support the fuel line that would bend the edge a little bit. So far it’s working just fine. Pictures show the old tank and I then the new one.

Took a little to receive but overall good product.

What a piece of cheap merchandise. I knew better. Bet this will not get posted. A freezer bag is more sturdy

Although the plastic tank is strong to safely hold liquid, it dents easily. Wish the cap was black instead of a bright orange one. Also the tank should be black and not white.

You need to drill a hole on the bottom of the tank to install the gas stem on the bottom. The stem is provided with o rings. I haven’t tried to put taa to see if it leaks. But not a good start.

Item was fine, could have had some way to fasten the tank to the car. Biggest complaint, took a long time to get here.
