Excellent results !
I used these to replace the old damping mounts on the compressor in my window air conditioner. The original dampers had worn out, and the unit was making excessive noise. I installed these Isolate IT washers, and the results have been better than I expected. The A/C unit is now very quiet, and I am even able to crank it up to the high-cool setting without any additional noise or vibration. I plan to use Isolate It items in the future when I have similar needs.

Thought they were too thick at first but I am glad I gave them a try. I used them to mount a Broan gable vent fan and I ended up compressing them to about 1/3 of their original thickness between the Broan fan and the plywood box I mounted the fan on. My client was surprised that this new fan was so quiet that he couldn't even tell when it come on from his office below the attic.

Soft Rubber
As someone unfamiliar with the product, I was looking for fairly hardy rubber spacers to bolt a tool to another surface with. These are not that product. They were very soft and a little sticky coming out of the package. I figured I'd try them anyway and they more or less disintegrated over the first two weeks.

Must have for a quiet Attic Fan installation.
Attic fans can be very loud. This product greatly reduces any noise the fan makes.Don't install an attic fan without using them. Great product.

Did the job
Had a vibrating attic fan that was making noise two stories down. Added these to the fan mount and the vibration and sound was 50% less.

Four Disintegrated Within 3 hours at 22 pounds load each
Rated load not realistic. I placed a metal washer above and below these because they are useless as a simple piece of super soft rubber without reinforcement (think a hair above jello). I would say these are perfect....if your load is in the 0 to 5 pound range. I would return the scraps but it is a waste of time.

Very good product
I used these as shock absorbers for a garage heater I installed that make a lot of vibration noise after being hung, after I installed these 75% of that noise went away, a very good product.
