I purchased this screen to replace a cracked oem screen. It "works", and install went smooth and everything needed is included, however there is a few issues.The tools included are medicore at best. I stripped the first pentalobe screwdriver and rendered it completely unusable with the first attempt at removing the apple screws on the bottom of the phone. Multiple attempts to file it down a tad bit to bite the screw didnt work. Luckily an IT friend had an assorted screwdriver set that had what I needed and were far superior to the soft metal ones included with the kit. I continued on with the better tools.Next, the screens dark colors are really off - especially the darks on low brightness. Blacks are completely uneven and turn to different/various shades of grey when it should be solid. If youre looking at a solid black background - it will be a huge spectrum of various grey shades instead of a solid black. This is really noticable between lowest brightness to about 20% or in the dark. Bright colors also bleed a shadow effect on black backgrounds.Screen response isnt quite 100%. Theres some small issues with certain touches not being responsive. Also, it sometimes registers touches to the screen, when its not being touched. I notice my camera sometimes being activated when its sitting down, or some sort of multiple swipe attempts when its sitting up on the wireless charger.Phone screen also turns on and off randomly. Super annoying at night because it can be constant every few minutes.In my opinion, and I did some solid research on iphone xs max screens, youre better off buying an OEM refurbished oled screen and pay for a better tool kit that you can continue to use down the road. I took a chance at this kit. In the end, my phone works and I no longer have a cracked screen, but the tools suck, my touch response is sometimes off, and the color issues I have.

Seemed to work fine at first, no issues for the first few months. Around month 4 it would have goofy black screen moments, but they were rare. off and on would bring it back to light. However the screen has gone green, and barely displays the image below. Occasionally going away to work like normal, only to return to green again :(. No options for warranty or replacement. Id avoid for the cost it carries.

Small items to Take apart and put back together but upon Completion all work very well the expense 200.00 and a little Time. Repaired a 1100.00 Apple Phone Broken Phone of My neglect of GLASS Which if I sent off to Repair least cost could find 460.00 good saving and works Good as New. Now going to Try and Separate Broken Glass Screen and Repair Damaged Glass Piece of Original Screen. Do to Buying all the wrong parts to repair as originally expected But Watched Videos of how to do and have a Heating Plate that should Work ??

Obviously the tools included are not high quality, if at all possible, either buy a micro tool set like the kind from iFixit or borrow them. It will make working on the replacement much easier especially since the magnetic tips make all the difference. Make sure to have sufficient lighting or use a head lamp angled slightly away from direct line of sight. Go slow, use a light touch and be patient. There is nothing to complain about the screen itself, it works just fine.

Screen replacement came well packaged and as advertised. The digitizer is very close to factory grade and is working smoothly so far. A few of the touch functions don't seem quite as crisp as the original but you wouldn't notice the differences if not looking for them.The only "complaint," if you could call it that, is the screen is slightly more rounded on the edges than the original Iphone screen, so the screen protector I installed doesn't make full contact around the edges.But overall, I am completely satisfied with the product. Beautiful product, very crisp and clean display. I think I prefer it to the original!I highly recommend this product if you have a broken iPhone XS Max screen.

After only five months of having this replacement screen, the top half of it, quit working. I cannot even unlock my phone or turn it off. Now I will have to buy another screen replacement.

Customer is very satisfied with this replacement screen, I tested it after performing the repair and it functions smoothly & the colors are vivid. Worth the $$ in my opinion.
