This pocket sluice is a good choice if... * You know and understand how small it is and what that means for how it must be used and what for. * You like Hungarian style riffles. * You are very patient. * You are just using it to test for gold. * You need the smallest possible sluice. This is not a good choice if... * You want to catch the maximum possible amount of the gold that passes through your pocket sluice. * You are wanting to sluice any decent amount of material, or ue anything bigger than a spade (or a spoon) to feed it. * You prefer a different style of riffles. * You have a wife like mine, who packs it between two gold pans and then puts a much larger, much heavier sluice on top of those gold pans, thus deforming it for 24 hours before you discover this fact, making the sluice completely unusable for the whole week of your vacation, and never having it fully return to it's originally intended shape. * You think it is bigger than it actually is. * You'll be working in very high or very low temperatures.

I love this small sluice because it will fit perfectly in my backpack along with my other gold panning supplies. It looks like it's going to work pretty well. I will use a tablespoon to feed the sluice and put a bucket under it so I don't lose anything with running water. Thanks for a good and honest transaction! Very small , But handy to sample areas with very low flow creek water.

Not only did it come with a cool Sluice Fox sticker, but it included the miners moss, which I noticed many others don’t have! Plus this has two wingnuts instead of one – a huge flaw on the other ones I looked at. For the price I paid, the quality and sizing is perfect. Super light weight, so it’s an easy add to my current backpack. Definitely got my money's worth with this sluice box! Looking forward to adding more Sluice Fox to my collection.
