Pillows are a very subjective purchase but this one worked for me
Overall great pillow and priced fairly based on competitors.Pros:1. Works for back and side sleepers. I was worried that it was only meant for side sleepers but this works for back sleepers too. Now I have the option to switch it up as certain pillows only work for one or the other sleeping style (e.g., purple original pillow is only for back sleepers).2. Three height options. Everyone has different height needs to position their neck and head correctly. With 3 height options, most people should be able to find what works for them or close enough.3. Supportive foam. It would be considered on the firm side but it proves great support without feeling hard (at least in my opinion).4. Price is fairly competitive. Of course there are cheaper options but compared to the bigger names, this is respectively priced. It is still on the high side but how much is your sleep worth to you?5. Shape is contoured to your head and shoulders. It is a good balance that gives you the needed support but doesn't get in the way either.6. Doesn't compress down significantly. Not sure what Tempur-Pedic is thinking but all their new models seem to compress from 6.5 inches to less than 2 inches after a few minutes with your head on it. Not much support but their cooling gel seems to work though.Cons:1. Size is smaller. It is still larger than the Tempurpedic one that is 20 inches in width. I wished they had an option for at least queen size though.2. Slightly higher little sliver of foam at the neck. I don't think this little sliver provides any real support and sometimes feel weird when you move/adjust and feel it. Not really an issue when you're sleeping though.3. Price. I know this was on the pros but still is on the expensive side and for a relatively small sized pillow.

great pillow
Great pillow for neck/back pain and TMJ! This is for side-sleepers to allow comfortable room for your shoulders and back to align, NOT so much for sleeping flat on your back. Buy the appropriate size pillow according to your physical size - I am tall with broad shoulders so need the large. Yes they are pricey but do last several years and help with a good night's sleep! The slight indentation on the one side takes the pressure off my ear and jaw. When it starts loosing it's firmness I flip it over and can get more use from it.

Sturdy pillow; has helped alot
I was waking up every morning with a sore neck, and occasionally with numbness in my arms. I decided it must be my pillow...so I swapped out the pillow I had been using for another in the house. It did help, somewhat, so I went in search for new pillow. After looking in many stores, I decided to try Amazon. The reviews of this pillow intrigued me, and it seemed that most of the more negative reviews were because the people had not chosen the right size. Again...small for 5'4" and shorter, medium for 5'5" and taller, large for 5'10" and taller with broad shoulders. I decided to try one, even at the price of $92. I figured that if it worked at all, it might spare me the expense of a few massages to relieve the pain in my neck. First, this is a VERY dense and heavy pillow, which is fine for me; I prefer it. I don't like pillows that you can squish and your fingers are millimeters apart. I just don't think most pillows give enough support. This gives ALOT of support. People complained about "pillow punching" in the middle of the night; I was having to plump or reposition my pillow, too. You couldn't plump this pillow if you tried. It is what it is; you can't make it a different shape, it's impossible, which for the most part is good. I am generally a side sleeper, and this pillow works well for me when side sleeping, but doesn't completely work for me when I'm wanting to sleep on my back.As far as it's design, it does cradle the face and head nicely. I don't have snoring problems, so I can't atest to whether or not the design of the pillow helps snoring. I do, however, grind my teeth, but I can't tell that the design of this product helps in that regard. It certainly doesn't make it worse. The "airway systems" that "maximize airflow to improve breathing" do seem to help me. I have chronic, severe allergies, and it does seem like airflow/breathing is better (my face isn't so squished, I guess, so perhaps it does help keep your airways more open).BUT - the most amazing thing...The very first night I used this pillow, I had a DREAM. What was amazing was that when I awoke, it occurred to me that I couldn't remember the last time I did dream. It seems like I would have realized that. SO - if nothing else, I was more comfortable enough that I was achieving a deeper REM stage of sleep, allowing me to dream.I don't think this pillow is perfect, but it is certainly a great start. I no longer have pain in my neck each morning, and I continue to dream each night - so I'm sleeping more deeply. I haven't had to have a massage for my neck since using this pillow. So in that regard, it has probably paid for itself already!

Great for sore neck/ shoulders
I love this pillow even tho the price has gone up. This will be my 9th or 10 th. Had both rotator cuffs surgically repaired and have a big bone spur in my neck from same fall. This pillow is the only one that supports my neck and keeps pressure off my shoulders. Highly recommend. Better price other places but have to pay shipping silo it works out the same price.

Hard as a rock
I first purchased the large version of this pillow in 2021 and it was great. The foam was firm but had a bit of give and more of a jelly-like consistency. I purchased the medium version in 2024 and I’m blown away by how hard and uncomfortable the foam is. It feels like sleeping on a brick and causes my neck and shoulder to ache.

Perfect in every way
This pillow worked beautifully even the first night for my TMJ. Head nestled in and seemed to keep jaw soft. Had a great sleep.
