Great Trick for Chronic Pain
This may sound odd, but taking DHA has helped clear up the dreaded "pain fog" that chronic pain creates; I have Ehler's Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and I heard about DHA on a fibro support group from some women who had been put on it during their pregnancy, and they talked about how they had so much more clarity when they were taking it - many of them continued to take it afterward. So I tried it, and found that it worked fairly well, and when I ran out of the first batch of this Mega-DHA and couldn't restock right away, I started having a bit more fog. This DHA is really good for the price, and you get quite a bit in each gel, so you don't have to take as many gels. It's pretty efficient and I didn't get much in the way of the "fish aftertaste" that some people complained about with other brands of DHA. You also get some EPA, which never hurts, as well as Omega-3 and Vitamin E. It's much better than having the DHA mixed in prime rose oil, which is one of the other ways to get DHA.The price for the product is also pretty good. It's a really high quality blend, you're getting two bottles, and it brings it down to being much cheaper than what you can typically get in a brick and mortar store. And since it's a Prime product, it can have free shipping if you have the Prime service, making it even cheaper.I really suggest trying this trick if you have chronic pain. Building up DHA, which is a core component of your brain, seems to help bring down the "fog" a lot.

A daily staple
I’ve been taking this for over a year. This vitamin has some of the highest levels of DHA and EPA and is reasonably priced. It also has a great ratio of EPA vs DHA. It’s hard to tell when supplements work but I feel like my muscle soreness after lifting is less when I take this, and I am in a better mood.I was specifically looking for omega-3s with vitamin E to round up my daily vitamins, and this works great. Highly recommend.

High DHA Fish Oil, 60 caplets. Nature's Way.
I've been taking Nature's Way Alive! Ultra Potency and never have and issues and I get a great jolt from it so I decided to add some fish oil to my diet as it can not hurt right? Doctors and whatnot said hey never know/recommend a certain amount. I can say the only effect from it(that i feel) is that it does make me feel good(brain wise). Placebo? I missed some days taking it and I would say that feel good weirdness wasn't there but hey who knows. I only take one a day(says take 2 a day) but I feel good with the one. I normally eat a lot of fish in my diet daily so for the 10 dollars for 2 months its not bad!For the fish burp people, if you read the instructions it does say take it with food. If you eat, take it then eat some more its fine. Take it alone, on an empty stomach or at the end of the meal yes you will get the fish burps. Again not that bad for me as I don't mind the taste of fish, but overall great product, easy to swallow, none were broken in the bottle.

Nature's Way Mega DHA is NOT Kosher. Gelatin is from Cows and Pigs.
This product is NOT Kosher. Just got off the phone with customer service and the sweetest lady just told me the gelatin is sourced from bovine and pig. Just a heads up. Sending it back.

Minimal after taste
These pills are pretty big and so you might expect some secondary taste after taking them. On occasion there has been some but I would say that it is mo more often than the enteric fish oil pills I have taken. Two of the pills got stuck together probably because of touching them with wet hands and when I split them apart one of them broke open and to be sure the oil has a pretty noticeable smell that did not come off my hands too easily. I cannot say that I have notices any really difference since I started taking it. My knee which has been sore due to what seems to be tendinitis might be a little less sore since I started taking it but it has been getting better on its own. Granted I have been taking fish oil which in my experience made a difference when I started taking them so I would guess that the supposed added benefit of taking more DHA might only be minimal at best. I will probably continue to take them because I am a true believer that adding fish oil to your diet helps keep you a little less creeky as you get older. I certainly do not feel like I am in my teens but even when I stepped up the amount of work I was doing around the yard this spring I did not get that much soreness which I really expected given the substantial increase. I might switch to the organic one so it is a higher ratio of DHA but I think that these are about what you would expect at a good price.

Best DHA/Omega 3!
These are the best Omega -3 on the market for high DHA consumption. DHA is what you want the most of, EPA is also good to have, STAY AWAY FROM OMEGA 6 & 9's!!!A lot of people misunderstand Omega's and waste a lot of money on useless junk some companies are trying to market to you as a "health fad"so here is a quick break down to help you understand what to look for and why.DHA - Best form of Omega 3, able to cross the blood brain barrier, An omega-3 fatty acid that represents more than 50% of the omega-3 fatty acids in the brain.EPA - Good form of Omega 3, able to work on tissue and cells (yes, good for your heart), NOT ABLE TO CROSS THE BLOOD BRAIN BARRIER!Omega 6 & 9 - It is UNHEALTHY to take in extra omega 6 & 9 as your body already produces these in abundance. Stay away!To find out more about DHA, other supplements and a healthy life style visit: http://www.drperlmutter.com/blog/

Suggestion
These don't really have any taste, but i didn't want to mark them down for that. I feel good about all the info on this fish oil & about the company. i just wish Nature's Way would package them in larger amounts. As soon as i receive my order i open up the bottles & pour one bottle into another as each container has enough room for double the amount. I keep them in the fridge, so they stay fresh, but i'd rather not waste space with half full containers. Why not charge more for a double the amount to 120 or offer a triple, 180, sized container. NW could get their profit w/o so much waste... just a thought...
