My dog loves these as a treat. We buy this size and break them into 4 pieces as opposed to buying tiny ones. They seem to be fresher?!

Dog loves these but watch for expiration dates
My dog loves these (not as much as Greenies though which gets the high 5). The price was right in the sweet spot for such a big bag of treats. Some dogs will have a sensitive stomach to these and after a hard run or playing in the hot sun, these treats should be held back for an hour or so or you will be cleaning it out of your carpet. These are not your low calorie treats either and should be given as the exception and not the rule. We have bought Beggin' treats for our dogs ever since Beggin' Strips were first sold in 1993 by Nestlé Purina. We have outlived a number our family friends and I can say that I have never once felt these were poorly made or created a health issue. The old commercials do this product justice. they want that Bacon. So with all that said, you need to watch out for expiration dates. My last bag came with a December 2015 date on it (Delivered August 15th). These have a shelf life of almost 18 months and within 6 months they start to get dry and stale. I will have to use these up faster than I would normally allocate them out.
