Hastings 10X Loupe Highest Optical Grade Glass Element Lens Includes Leatherette Pouch

I was looking for a jewelry loupe to check on my jewelry, and looked at a bunch of options on Amazon before decided on the Quality Optics loupe. The item arrived quickly, and I was delighted how solid the loupe feels in my hands. It is not an item with all the bells and whistles, which wasn't what I was looking for anyway. The glass lens provides a clear view of whatever item you need to examine. Also it comes with a little storage pouch, and is quite compact so you can store it easily. I love it for what it is: clean, well made, and easy to use. I'm so glad that I didn't choose to go with anything less than, and I always love to support a family owned business. P.S. The cute dog on the card definitely deserves lots of treats!

Solidly built, beautiful all-metal construction, excellent leather pouch, clear, aplanatic/achromatic triplet lens (no image distortion or extraneous color). Can’t compare side-by-side with Zeiss models, but fully met my expectations for quality at a great price.

I’m really impressed with the built quality. This has great weight to it and the optics are perfect. It comes with a perfect size leather pouch and cleaning cloth. I was looking for something less expensive, but all I saw was just low quality items. This is worth the price. Highly recommended !

Truly impressed with this item: quality is far higher than I was expecting, with premium materials, including true metal frame with is not light or cheap feeling; lens is well made and has very high clarity! And it can with a very well made leather case (which was an unexpected bonus!)…it’s quite neat, as it perfectly fits the loupe and the look and stitching of the case top notch!

Great company, product was packaged nice & delivered promptly. Works fine, as expected. Only tiny suggestion is that the little knob for adding a chain be just a bit higher/larger. Had a lens from another company that broke after many years, wanted to use the same necklace-chain but the opening too small.

The magnification is excellent, precise and clear. It brings every detail to the forefront. It is well made. It comes in a leather case that fits like a glove, along with a lens cleaner swatch and a small ring fastener for attaching to a lanyard. In fact, I am going to purchase another one for my go bag.

I'm here writing a review because the pupper on the card in the packaged asked me to. What's your name little cutie? Anyway, immediately on opening the package, I thought to myself, this is the kind of quality of how things used to be made. I have a camera of my great grandpa's that still works, and a few pieces of office equipment from my grandpa that are still going strong. They are made of sturdy metal and glass, and have leather cases to keep them safe. That's what this loupe is like. It's sturdy, heavy duty, and feels like it could last through my lifetime and the next. It comes in a solid leather case to protect it from knocking around in my foraging bag, provides excellent magnification, and is heavy and solid in the hand. I'll update after a few months of use, but I'm very impressed with this loupe. It's a bit more in price than some others, but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Very high quality with glass lens. Sure it cost more (But) you get what you pay for. I returned the cheap plastic Loupe back to the other seller! It is imperative when say looking at gems not to have a smuge or worse yet a scratch !!! A VVSI 2 WILL CLEARLY SHOW ON A DIAMOND AS WITH. A CHEAP LOUPE YOU MAY MISS IT ALL TOGETHER! Use the quality tool like this Loupe to get the results you need . Please don't short change yourself and spend a little extra and remember to store.
