Ad description clarification
The ad description, as of writing this, states: "PENETROX A is a natural (petroleum) base compound with..." which is TRUE. BUT... the ad is for PENETROX 'A13' which Burndy themselves says: "PENETROX A13 consists of a non-petroleum base vehicle in which zinc particles are suspended. Recommended for aluminum to aluminum, aluminum to copper applications and aluminum conduit threads. Compatible with insulating materials such as rubber, or polyethylene. UL Listed and recommended for all voltages." You want 'A13" if you want a NON-petroleum based oxide inhibitor that is compatible with certain insulation jackets.
