Simple reference guide to everything travel-related for parents
Whether you're taking a weekend road trip, or a month-long European vacation, there is useful advice in this easy-reading ebook. They've thought of everything from packing efficiently with enough snacks to how to board a train with a stroller.I especially appreciated some of the pro tips for long-distance travel. Their seat hacking strategy for airlines is perfect, and makes so much sense to be able to snag 3-4 seats together on a plane. We also never think much about traveling by train since we live in the states, but especially for an overseas trip we'll now be planning around all the places we can visit with a train ride in between. And as parents who love to travel with our 3-year-old, we couldn't agree more with the "Airbnb > Hotel (when traveling with kids)" rule. We're heading on a Hawaii cruise with our family next spring. We already loved the tips on their blog for how to plan your own excursions. And the ebook had some helpful suggestions for adjusting to time changes heading both East and West, which we'll definitely need on this trip.Every parent is different with things like screen time, dealing with tantrums, candy, etc. But I appreciate that these are real parents with a real kid doing some pretty challenging things. It definitely gives me more confidence that we can bite off a big trip with our preschooler. Thanks for your advice!

Chocked full of practical tips
My wife and I are expecting our first child. We love to travel and having experienced people traveling with children during our adventures, we both started to get concerned about how our lifestyles may be impacted. I searched around and finally came upon this book and YES, there is hope.Reading their practical tips and real-world experiences has given us hope and something to strive for. As my headline mentions, this book is chocked full of practical tips. I made close to 100 highlights in my Kindle Reader and added over 20 products to my Amazon wish list for after our little one arrives. This book inspires confidence. If you don't believe traveling with kids is a possibility for you, I recommend you give this book a shot. Well worth the $!

Cant wait to test the method
I have came across this e-book when i was looking for how to handle stress when vacation with the kids. Last vacation was really a disaster and we are not enjoying the trips and even decided to postpone any vacation until they grown up. We have quite a challenge since both our kids had issues with their tantrum. After reading this book, all the hack and tricks really make sense. We also have lift up the vacation barred and planning to go for a trip next month. Thank you author for sharing the experience and make our life easier.

More of a travelog than a guide, and exactly how I don't want to travel with kids
I have some experience traveling with kids, and was hoping to find some more ideas in this book, which I did not. Their offer tips like "fly business class if you can afford it", "business class train seats offer more room", or get a hotel suite. Yes, it's true, if you spend more you will be more comfortable. This is a fact of life and not something you need to read a book for. They relate a crisis of not having shows downloaded in the tablet for their youngster. I'm not such a luddite to travel without some device, but when my children go places they can sit at a restaurant without a device or look around a museum without needing to watch something.

Well done! The book is full of tips and advices that I would have never thought of it by myself. MUST READ for anyone who dreams about traveling and is worried about traveling with kids.

Title “Travel w/Kids” but content primarily about authors traveling w/3 yr old.
The book would have made a decent magazine article. But for a book I was left wanting for something more. The authors went on a grand around the world vacation taking their young son with. Tips and tricks that were presented focused on a child aged 0-3. There was an airline seating suggestion for larger family’s but beyond that one mention nothing for someone look to coordinate for a larger family or older kids.Respect to the authors for their can do attitude (both striking out on their around the world vacation and authoring a book). However the authors budget nor the two adults to one toddler ratio is just not applicable for most traveling families. I found content too narrow to be helpful.
