Good welds. What more do you need
I've many years experience with Mig-Co2 but never used gassless before. I was put onto the Forney brand by a youtube reviewer and thought I'd give it a chance. It was every bit as good as he said, easy to use and leaves only a dusty slag residue which just brushes off. Gasless is really only for outside use IMO as there is a lot of smoke. Alternatively, use an airfed mask if you have to be indoors. I used the wire to build a new section of chassis for my truck and will buy more.

not over impressed
Having read loads of reviews and tests, everyone seemed to rate this so I bought some.....far from being the shiny bright product I expected it was dark grey and dirty looking.Having just finished the small reel that was supplied with my Tigren 140 welder I loaded it and proceeded.....jees talk about smoke.....whereas the previous wire produced minimal smoke and spatter this was quite the opposite - and in contrast to all that I had read....it produced copious amounts of smoke, so much so that I had to keep stopping to let it clear....and yes, I am welding outside! The end result looks reasonable but the thick brown deposits and smoke stains just werent there with the original wire, unfortunately it didnt have a name on so I dont know what make it was....the original wirealso produced far less spatter than this. The wire is also quite brittle - bend it in half and it snaps....not sure if thats good or bad but other wires I have used are not brittle like thatIt does work but I am not overly impressededit...I believe the original wire may have been SIP 02706....considerably dearer but maybe thats why it appeared to be better
