Original GeoFlux 2-Pack of Mesmerizing 3-D Kinetic Sculpture & Interactive Spring Toys, Silver Metallic

I bought this for my son's 13th birthday. I had NO idea what to get him and stumbled across this on Amazon. I thought he might think it was kind of fun but had no idea how much he would like it. There is something so fascinating about the simplicity of this toy. It's just cool to see how it transforms from just these rings to this "sculpture" that moves up and down your arm. My son brought this to his birthday dinner that night, he has brought it to school each day since he got it (I'm a teacher and he hangs out in my classroom before and after school) and everyone that sees it wants to try it. Now I know what to get all his friends for their birthdays. A great gift that doesn't break the bank and isn't an electronic device, yay!

I purchased this as a gift for a 7-year old girl. I was unaware of anything quite like this product, and had never seen one before...but the reviews seemed promising, and I decided to take a chance.So, I received this yesterday, and I just had to open it to try it and determine if she would like it (and to try it out for myself!) This thing is awesome! I just finished ordering 2 more for 2 other friend's children, even though I was already "finished" with their shopping! It's that neat, that I figured they'd all get a kick out of it.If I can figure out how to do it (never tried before) I may come back and update with the reaction/response of the various children.Also, shipping and packaging were great, and...I received an email on the day the package was due to arrive (and did indeed arrive), from the owner of Global Imports. He was interested in knowing if I was happy with my order, and wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied. It's nice to see a company actually care about their customers!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 12-year-old cousin, because I had no idea what to get him and this looked cool. When I saw the package I worried that it would be underwhelming. But after we were finished opening presents, my cousin opened the package and started playing with the GeoFlux. Me, my mom, my aunt, my other cousin, my brother, and even my 3-year-old nephew spent about an hour playing with it. We were all taking turns with it, passing it from one person's arm to the next, and thinking of different things to try it on. (For instance you can stretch out an extension cord and put the GeoFlux around it, and it will "magically" spin its way from one end to the other. It really was mesmerizing! I would definitely recommend this as a unique and fun gift for kids and even adults.

The image for this toy is terrible. The description is unclear. Solely based on the reviews, I decided to take a chance and bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Guess what ended up being her favorite Christmas present?The best way to describe this is a slinky for the arm. It's a bunch of circular strands connected together to form a sphere like structure. When you flatten the strands, you can put your arm (or leg if you are small/young enough) through the resulting loop. The strands will then pop up, gently gripping whatever is in the center, and will then spin around as gravity takes hold. It sounds boring, but the moment you play with it, you'll be hooked. My kids and their friends are going nuts over this thing. They pass it from arm to arm to the occasional leg and end with throwing it into the air so it pops open. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I gave two as birthday gifts to my nephews. They thought it was cool and to my surprise everyone who saw them wanted to play with or watch it move. If you have never seen one of these before it is a hit.This is a good gift for that tween age if you are stumped for one. It is metal which is good, it pops up which is cool, it can be interactive which is fun.The fact that it is metal makes it span wider age ranges. So if the chilid is 10 or 50 years, they will appreciate it.Really I would give this 4.6 stars.There is a limit to what you can do with it. The person fun factor does wear out in a day. You need to show it to new people to keep that excitement up or find new things to try it on.Note- To respond to one reviewer that said they got scratched up. I felt the weld on the two I have and while not quite rough you can feel the stacked joint edges. HOWEVER IN USE there was not a scratch on skin or snag on cloths.Yes it does work better on arms but if you have it spinning fast enough it will over over long sleeves. I think it would have been good to give some educational science on this. I think people are forgetting to wonder WHY it can do what it was.The only thing that bugs me is that I discovred it is a copy of a Toroflux. It is a shame that for $5 difference most will go for the lower cost. I dont knwo if they are different but I think those are hand made in USA and have a warranty. GeoFlux does not. Even if you abused your Toroflux they give a half price replacement. I plan on ordering one to see if it moves any better and will update if I do.For now i say it is a nice gift . The bag also means no wrapping is really needed. Bag , toy , give and be the cool gift giver.

Bought for 8 years old grandson. The whole family was playing with it. Would be great for kids birthday gift!

I got this for my 12 year old son as a Christmas present. It's fun. it's cool. There are even YouTube videos showing it in use in really cool ways. So we did all that. And now there's nothing left to do with it and it's sitting on a shelf. Kind of a fun novelty gift to open around a group of friends, but it gets boring after a while.
