Ikea Children's Stool,Beige, 24x24x28 cm (9 1/2x9 1/2x11)

Good stool. Comes in knock down form and legs need to be screwed in. The legs screw in at a slight angle which increases stability but can't handle much weight as the legs flex outwards, so it is good only for kids (as advertised). Top is made of 4 pieces of wood glued together. Unlike Ikea steel kitchen items which rust, this one seems to offer reasonable value for money. The wood is unfinished, so I have applied a coat of linseed oil and set it to dry. I bought this to place next to my relaxing chair to place a glass of tea, coffee or beer as my other wooden table is too low and I had to stoop sideways to pick up and place the glass. Serves my purpose very well. If used as a table it's height suits different kinds of chairs so you can keep a plate of sandwiches or a mug of coffee on it.Can also be used to place a vase or other decorative item. Sadly the legs are not level so it rocks, tried it on different surfaces. It also stains very easily and is impossible to clean. Adults should not sit on it or the legs will splay out and damage the stool.Update:Seems to be okay for light adults, but I forbid guests from sitting on it.

Love the stool from IKEA. It’s sturdy and very compact too.
