Versatility always wins with me.
I've had an old set of (regular) Eneloops for many many years. I hardly used them back when I got them, but I use them a lot now. I didn't even know if they would work, having sat in a drawer for more than 15 years, but they do. The charger claims to individually assess each battery and charge it accordingly. I don't know if that's true, but they all charged and all of the lights ended up green, so I'm going to assume that it did what it said it was going to do. Rechargeables definitely don't last as long as alkaline batteries in use, but when you can recharge them over and over again, you're still in the win zone. My favorite thing about this charger is that I can use it to recharge phones and other USB products using the rechargeable batteries. I do have a similar power pack, but it only takes alkaline batteries, so it only serves as a non-rechargeable battery bank. This one I can use to charge stuff and then when it stops charging I can plug it in and recharge it and use it over and over again that way, OR just swap out the batteries that are in it with a fresh set. As others have said, the sliding door is a bit wimpy, but I'm hoping not to bang this thing up too much anyway. You could just take it off, but it is nice having it there. Can't speak about longevity and how it will perform over the long term as I just received it, but so far I'm loving it. I may actually get another one so that I have one in a vehicle and one in the house, ready to be swapped if necessary.

Great buy
The best batteries, charger doubles as a backup usb charger when loaded with charged batteries. I keep 1 in my bug out bag, and 1 in my backpack.

Great for travel
This is a nice little charger for AA and AAA batteries. I like the USB connections for charging, and the ability to also use the charger to charge other devices like phones. The batteries it comes with are some of the best you can buy, they hold their charge a long time and recharge in a reasonable amount of time. It's a perfect addition to my travel kit.

Micro USB Input :(
The micro usb is used for input to charge the batteries. There was no mention in the description what input was used but it looked usb c from the pic so I took a chance. All other descriptions match, the input is my only issue. Good batteries, outdated charging connector.

USB charger for Eneloop batteries
If you have USB connections, use this charger. But get the smart charger with AC connection, it’s a better choice

It is an environmentally friendly phone charger
With this gadget I can charge my phone without buying a whole battery pack. After 500 times, I simply replace the rechargeable AA batteries and start over, Buying 4 new rechargeable AA (Eneloop Pro, of course) is way cheaper than buying a new battery pack and do my part to help the environment. Cons: It will not fully charge my iPhone 13, but it is enough to go on in an emergency. I could always carry 4 extra AA along, but let’s be honest (I have chargers in the car, at home, at the office)
