Red one looks great
Easy to put together since most parts were already done. Nice & heavy material. My Grandkids are going to love this. Definitely not a plastic toy ride on. My 0ne Grandson is 77 #'s & most ride ons go to 66 #'s. This says 110# & feels like it will last great. Tires have a rubber coating so no slip like plastic wheels. Can't wait to see them on it. Well worth the money so far.

Worth it
I like that they come in a box that actually has a picture on it of the product it made me think for a second that it was going to be cheap and then I saw the box and I was like yes this looks awesome we open it up put it together and everything was super sturdy and strong and easy to put together and then the girls started writing them I love that you can move the seat size we've got two of them so one for my little girl and one for my taller one I wish that my taller girl had a little bit more leg room but I'm sure we could always drill another hole into the metal to make the seat go back a little further but either way they love them they're fun little Cruisers and honestly I wish I could ride one around

Awesome! Better than electric ride on toy! Added lights for fun!
This little go cart is great! I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you nowhere and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. Those electric right on ones are a one big disappointment waiting to happen. Plus I saw the charging time is like all night to get a short ride out of it the next day. I see in my mind with one of those kids crying in the battery dying at the wrong place at the wrong time. So when I give the kids something where they can burn off their energy stay healthy and never have these problems. So I bought him this pedal one and it’s great. It’s simplistic and perfect. It has real rubber tires is very sturdy. I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you know where and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. I highly recommend this. Oh to install the rear Lights and plate I cut a piece of half-inch PVC pipe and drilled two holes on each side all the way through and mounted it would zip ties. The reason why I did this is there’s no good place to mount the lights on the rear of the frame. So the PVC pipe allows me to push more inwardly the lights this way if the kid backs up against the wall or something it doesn’t break the lights. The front lights are protected by the two front wheels. Also FYI the bike has only one drive wheel, works ok on short level dry grass and compact gravel. Best on a smooth surface. The pedals don’t freewheel which is good so your kid can reverse and maneuver. Love this thing!
I researched a lot of pedal carts for my 4 y.o. granddaughter and decided on this one. She loves it and I'm impressed with the quality of it. It seems well-built and like it will last. I like that it had a rubber tread on the wheels. It gets pretty good traction on our chip-seal driveway (pretty gravelly). It came mostly assembled and the rest went together easily.Granddaughter is 4 1/2. I had the seat initially on the shortest setting. After she tried it, I moved it back to the middle setting. I think there's only one more seat setting. I hope it lasts her a few more years. She can go fast on this, faster than her tricycle and she's mastering using the steering wheel. My only minor complaint is that it has a pretty large turning radius. When she needs a sharp turn, she just lifts it up and scoots it around a bit.

Good for boys under 8
First of all, it was pretty simple to put together; the main body comes assembled and you just need to put the wheels (4 nuts), the steering wheel column assembly (4 screws), the steering wheel rod and the steering wheel itself on the rod (1 nut). Finally 2 hand-twistable nuts to secure seat at desired length (3 settings available) and you're done! All parts fits fairly easyily with just the steering assembly requiring some tussle.I have a 4.5yr old and an almost 8yr old and both liked it very much and were able to use it easily. The tires are rubberized so that helps a lot in traction and braking. It helps younger kid learns paddling - something my 4.5yr old needed as he won't try it on tricycles or bikes but he was instantly hooked onto it calling the green one "Luigi Cart" and started paddling in both forward and reverse direction. Yes, it can be paddled to go backwards. A quirk is that the pedals/chain drives only ONE wheel - the righ rear wheel. Since i can't drive it, i don't know how it affects handling. The only minor gripes i have is that the steering feels a bit flimsy and flexes as its made out of hollow plastic tube - a thicker one would be better and a rubberized one would have been awesome! Second, the center position of steering causes the steering rod to rub against the frame and has a lot more friction than turning either way; thus its hard to bring it back to center/straight direction as it tends to slip to one or the other way - this could be an assembly issue. Also the pedals are made of hollow plastic - but they look pretty realistic drilled aluminum (nice touch!) - they are comfortable enough to be used bare foot as well. For the price, its a cool ride for kids - a nostalgia for us adults that brings smile to our face remembering the good old time and seeing our children experiencing the same. If anyone has experienced a better product, i'll appreciate they leave comments about it as i am looking to buy a 2nd one as now boys don't want to relinquish it to the other brother or share it.
