We are excited to introduce our new Patent Pending holster design for Semi-Automatic pistols: The Gen2-MTU line of holsters is a step up in comfort, convenience and ergonomic innovation. The design stemmed from a desire to make a 1911 holster with added features specifically for that gun. Once we field tested this holster, we received immediate positive response, and requests for the new design started to pour in after our official release at a local gun show. We quickly realized that this line needed to expand to incorporate the key features that would carry over to the other semi-auto holsters. The original Ultimate Chest Holster has been a tried and tested holster for years with many positive comments and reviews. In fact, we still have customers on occasion who prefer the more utilitarian model as opposed to the more tactical look. However, as a manufacturer, we are always looking to innovative and update ideas that follow market trends. The Gen2-MTU line of holsters are still made out of the same high quality materials with only a few changes made to hardware to achieve the tactical look and feel. Where those changes have been made, we have worked hard to make sure the replaced hardware was as good or better quality than those used in the Ultimate Chest Holster. Take a look and compare. We think you will appreciate what we have left the same, and admire those changes that we have made. The best option I've found
I've used this holster now on 4-5 hikes and during hunting season. I'm 90% pleased with it. It does what it's supposed to do, and goes on fairly easily. There's a belt loop to keep it all stable but I wasn't able to use that with what I was wearing any of those time, but it was still stable enough for me with just the three top straps. There's plenty of extra strap for even those of the "girthy" side of the equation, although the extra does flop around a bit. Once I'm confident about the lengths I want to keep I'll probably cut off the excess although it feels like a no-going-back type thing.I only have two minor complaints. First, the retainer strap is absolutely necessary - there is NOT enough friction to hold a pistol in place without it. But the retainer strap, although it's elastic and definitely lets go immediately when you release it, thereafter "flops around" kind of in way. The buckle is fairly large - larger than it needs to be IMO - it's pack-strap size and could probably hold 50lbs even though it probably only needs to hold 5lbs tops. About 1 in 20 practice draws I found this interfered a bit with clearing my gun from the holster, either by the buckle catching a bit on the back of the slide, or on my hand. It would be nice if this was a smaller size.Second, the are two mag pouches on the front, which is nice, but for field carry I actually often don't carry extra mags. I'm using a Glock 20 with a 15-round mag, and every ounce counts when you're already sporting 30+lbs of gear on a hike. This is a very personal decision obviously but mine is that what I carry is enough. It would be really nice if this area was a Molle attachment spot instead. You could still put mag holders there if you wanted... but if you didn't, you could put a small utility pouch or something like that. That chest spot is valuable cargo area for frequently-used items. I could even see hanging a small pair of binocs or something like that there. This is such a useful area I've literally considered sewing on this change myself, but I would happily buy this product AGAIN, and consider it "perfect", if there was a factory option for this...

Great for hunting
I wear this over my jacket and waders for my woods gun. It’s great & fits the Glock 40 perfectly. My only complaint is that it requires a loop around a belt. I used it on the adjustable “belt” on my jacket, but it’s not great & it kind of pulls on that when I draw it. Otherwise it’s well made & I’m really happy with it. Get the 2 mag version for a flashlight or knife in the 2nd pocket.

Fits a need, good quality (but not superior) doesn't match up to the premium price.
The adjustments aren't the easiest to deal with and if you're a smaller framed guy you are going to have a ton of excess straps hanging everywhere when you tighten this thing down. Also, my personal thoughts are, this is a run of the mill MOLLE universal holster with some extra pockets for ammo. So, having said that, I do not think this is a good value at $90. This feels like a $40-$60 product and *definitely* not the $109 that would pay at the Man Gear website.Again, I don't hate this holster and it fills a need where many other products fall short but I just don't think this item is a $90+ item.

Very Comfortable !
This fits my G40 Glock perfectly. Even with a 7" aftermarket barrel and Optic sight. I carried while out looking for sheds with my wife and granddaughter and crawling around in the brush was no issue at all. Very comfortable the whole day out there. I feel it would protect the contents in a fall. This did not happen yet and I hope I don't find out. At this time I gave it 5 stars as it is exactly as advertised with better then expected comfort.

Great customer service.
Works fine. Product needs some directions as to how to wear. Had a small issue with one strap that interfered with the Crimson Trace Laser that caused a minor adjustment.

Good holster - decent price....
A nice hunting holster. Holds both my Glocks, 20 & 30, snugly. Always use the belt connection strap to keep the holster in place when drawing pistol.

Excellent product.
Easily, safely, and securely holds a Glock 40 with a Fastfire III optic. Useable with a hunting pack. Protects the magazine release from accidental impact. The pistol is easily accessible but out of the way.
