Snap Caps are awesome
Dry shooting and practicing is important, especially when ammo is expensive. I have these snap caps in various calibers, and they perform exceedingly well.They come in a nice, compact package, 2 shells per package. The caps feel well made, fit in the magazine just like a real shell, and cycle your firearms flawlessly.There is no residue when cycling them and they do not harm your firearms.Overall, I'd recommend

A-ZOOM quality, performs like a real round.
Bought 3 pairs and all together have fired these a total of 100 times so far. The .223 version is very sturdy and precision made to the specs. Compared to other calibers that I have, this version stays very clean and chipping / scratching is minimal. I’m using these for my AR and Mini 14. I like to keep a snap cap in some firearms to help keep dust and dirt out of the barrel. It also adds a safety factor by forcing me to check the chambers and make 100% sure there isn’t a live round after shooting at the range. Helps to simulate the release round on my AR’s binary trigger. The ones on the right have been used the most by 50% magazine feed and 50% manual feed.

Saves money and helps keep you sharp
Saves a bundle on ammo. Don't get to range as often so these keep my scores up when I do go. Used daily and after hundreds of uses still almost new. Great product.

Simple rounds that are easy to practice with and are a good color so it’s easy to see the fake from the real.

Pricey, but a solid product
I bought these snap caps to help teach my family how to load a magazine and to allow them to dry fire safely.These are solid snap caps that will not fall apart, dent, etc. I wish they provided more of them for the price, as I think they are a little expensive. However, the quality can't be disputed.Being able to let my family practice with these things and dry fire helped get them a little more comfortable with the weapons before they live fired at the range.Dry firing is good practice. During marksmanship training in the USMC, a significant amount of time is spent on dry firing. Every Marine ends up being able to successfully engage stationary targets at 200, 300, 500 meters, so if dry firing is a significant portion of their training, I figured it should be something my family spent time on, too.
