Exactly as Expected
Just ran these through a new firearm purchase. They work exactly as they should. Not one misfeed or failure to eject. I liked them so much I ordered another.Pros- Look and feel, not too light or heavy, easy to distinguish from regular ammo, jam resistantCons- none yetUnknowns- not sure how long they’ll last as I dry fire practice a lot. Only ran them through about five times, seems okay so far with durability; again, part plastic so not sure how long it’ll last but so far, so goodTime will tell how much value these have compared to pricing but as of today I’m a pretty happy customer.

Unbelievable product, incredibly fast delivery
I looked and looked here at Amazon for the Tipton Snap Caps to go on sale - paying $16.34 just seemed nuts to me. Just three days ago, I looked and they were marked down to $7.94 for the box of five 9mm Luger. A whopping 50%+ off and I ordered two boxes. Returning often to Amazon has great rewards to a savvy shopper, something I believe Amazon smartly uses to keep us returning. The Tipton 9mm Luger snap caps came today, just 3 days after ordering, actually I believe I ordered very late in the evening, so 2.25 days is more realistic. I always look for a week or two at Amazon, the prices do vary greatly from day to day on many products. As I look now, the Snap Caps I bought 3 days ago for $7.94 are $16.34 - seriously, if you don't need it this minute, wait and catch a one day mark-down, I got 10 snap caps for the price of 5. BRAVO on the very fast delivery too, from Knoxville, TN to NJ is NOT a hop, skip and jump away and I chose regular delivery, nothing faster. As for the Tipton Snap Caps, wow! Very cool indeed. Dry firing your weapons is a great way to keep sharp, whether loading, firing, swapping magazines, racking the slide, practicing for failure to feed, failure to fire or any other motions you want to practice. Even at the range, have someone load your magazines for you and place random snap caps among live rounds to practice expelling a bad round and racking a new one.We all know any rim-fire guns should never be dry fired, and sadly I see poor reviews for the Tipton 22lr snap caps, but most center fire guns can dry fire without harm, but in the same thought, why risk the chance of slamming your firing pin against nothing when you can fire it with these beauties? There is no mistaking them for live rounds, they are brilliantly made. I can see a box will last a very long time. I have seen on Youtube people with concerns whether a well used snap cap will indent deep enough in the brass that it will be useless as a way to have your firing pin hit against it - but in reply I saw a Youtuber showing how the indent in the primer area was not all that happened, the spring also gave way to the force of the firing pin, so the indent PLUS the inward motion of the primer spring absorbed the force of the firing pin, thus only leaving a given dent into the snap cap primer area - better put, even after a thousand dry fires, the divot in the snap cap primer still contacted the firing pin as the snap cap spring absorbed the additional force of the firing pin.So whether it is to see if your firing pin is centered, or practice all your steps at handling your firearm, I believe these will do the job BETTER than any other snap cap you can buy.Great product, fast service and awesome price - can't ask for anything better.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
This is exactly what I was looking for to be able to practice dry firing without having to do it on an empty chamber.Tip: If, you just do a slight press check instead of a full rack, the round the round will not extract and you can reset for another pull without having to constantly reload ;)
