Terminator Resistance (PS4)

Awesome game well worth playing and paying highly recommended five stars

Great game that makes you feel part of the film series. There is a free ps5 upgrade if and when you ever manage to get hold of a ps5!

This game turned out to be much better than I expected, which is nice.Like many games of its kind it start off slowly, building up soon into the game.You’re Jacob Rivers, a private of the Resistance pacific division, who discovers he is more important to the cause than he realised.As the story unfolds you meet other characters, both resistance and civilians, who, through chatting with, either trust you or don’t, this trust building to some, shall we say, ‘surprising’ results.You start of with weaker guns, first a pistol then an SMG, finally getting your hands on some serious fire power as the game goes on … but be aware, in the harder play options there’s less ammunition flying about in the game so you have to use sparingly …As the game progresses you pick up other guns, including the laser weapons which you really do need to defeat the machines who are hell bent on killing you.To help you through the missions you build up your weapons and ammo, gaining strength and power using skill choices.The game play is quite impressive with a cracking story line to follow – your choices in conversations with other characters does change things but not by much – all leading up to the ultimate fight.There are several main missions with sub mission inside each one, giving plenty of action throughout the game.The one downside is that it does ‘glitch’ a bit, especially when auto saving … but as it doesn’t autosave during heavy game play it’s not really a problem within the game.In all, a great game with a good story-line and some heavy firepower which should keep the player happy and content throughout.

Brilliant, atmospheric, story driven game, from the visuals to the music, it captures the essence the future scenes of the 1st two Terminator films and gives you a fantastic campaign. At the time of writing, there is a free upgrade on PS5 to the enhanced PS5 version. If you're a true fan of the first 2 Terminator films you'll love this game.

Another good game but very hard to play

Excellent game

I like the Terminator films so after looking at other reviews and on You-tube I decided to purchase this game.I really enjoyed it and if you like games like "Wolfenstein", "Crysis" and "Titanfall 2" then you should give it a go.It is story led but a basic First person shooter. Nothing too complicated and easy to get into.Sometimes I think it's nice not to play online / multiplayer games and to just complete an old fashioned story mode.Simple controls and I thought the graphics were ok.Bought at a cheap price on an Amazon deal of the day promotion.

I received it earlier then expected. And played like a dream.

The game arrived on the agreed date, it has an engaging history there between T1 and T2. The game has many things that fans of the movie franchise would like.
