Typical Staedtler quality - use on only high quality paper though.
I've got a lot of Staedtler pens/pencils. There are a huge number of colors in this set. Both the fine and wide tips are solid - not "mushy". You can tell typical high quality from this company. It's nice to be able to fill in larger and smaller areas with the same pen. I docked it a star because they really bleed through paper if it's not high quality. And where pen strokes overlap it's very visible. I've found that trying to color in small spaces the fine ends bleed ink quickly and they can actually tear the paper. All in all a very nice set.

Beautiful colors, not Staedtler quality
I primarily journal with colored pens for interest factor, esthetics and ease of locating different entries. Love the dual tip- thin for writing and blunt for coloring. The saturation and range of the colors is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I find some of them are gushers so you want to try them on scrap paper first to avoid blotting your art or notebook. Also the flow rate differs greatly between fine and blunt tips but not consistently so you have no idea which one will gush and cause bleeding if you don’t test first. Biggest frustration is that the black branding and pics for fine/blunt tips on the makers rubs off. I have used them maybe 5 days since they arrived and two markers have almost fully lost their brand name and fine/blunt pics from rubbing against a book it was closed inside. It also rubs off on your hands. 🤦🏼♀️ Thankfully I own the books that got marked up. Overall happy with the purchase however don’t think I would go this route again.

Bought the 72 pack, loved them, bought the 120 pack
I use these for adult coloring books. The colors are gorgeous, the ink is very smooth, and you can build up the color based on how many strokes you use. I love that these are dual ended. I didn't think I'd use the fine tip much, since I also have the fineliner pens, but I love the fine tips for areas where you want to fill in more quickly than a pen but also get a smoother stroke. They're a good middle ground between the pens and the wide tip. Totally recommend these, but beware--once you use them, you'll never be able to go back!

Don't buy these pens
Was so excited to get these pens as per the description there were so many colors, some that I really wanted to use for coloring. I saw reviews that weren't so good but also some reviews that were very positive so decided to give them a try. But there are problems with these. They are described as water-based but they bleed heavily through any paper and also the ink will feather out over the lines when coloring, which you can expect with alcohol markers but not with water-based. Other pens I have that are water-based don't bleed this much at all and I haven't had any where the ink spreads out like these do. They are advertised as 120 colors but there are a lot of duplicates - there are 5 reds that are so similar you can't tell them apart, 3 greens and each aqua/turquoise shade have at least 1 duplicate, 2-3 orange duplicates as well as browns and blues with 2-3 duplicate shades, and you can't tell this unless you swatch. No pink duplicates but the purple shades were also duplicated. The darkest blues and greens showed up as black on paper. There was 1 green pen that came without an end cap and was completely dry. I wetted the end to get some color and found it was a duplicate of another green; this may have been in the pack by mistake, not sure. Regarding the micro tip end, ink flow was inconsistent from pen to pen with some making a fine line and others putting out a heavy line of watery ink. The larger tips were the same, with some drier and some putting out heavier ink. I wanted the fine tip pens to use with mystery mosaic books that have small spaces to color but ended up ruining a picture because the ink spread out into other spaces no matter how little pressure was put on the pen tip, plus the fine tip chewed up the paper and in general the ink was so watery that the paper buckled badly. I expect some of that with water-based ink but these pens left behind what looked like paper mache'. The case is plastic with dividers inside but the dividers don't do much at all. The pens just collapse in a heap if you take more than 2-3 out at a time. The others still in the case fall down and trying to put pens back in is a tricky juggling act. Because of duplicates, watery ink, heavy bleeding and feathering ink, macerated paper, etc. I returned these.
