Dissapointed

I knew this was a Non-Approved Life Vest before I purchased. I needed a comfortable, semi-buoyant vest for skiing, wake-boarding, etc. When this arrived, I was very excited. It is very comfortable and seems to be made well. I am normally a large in t-shirts and all other apparel, but this vest runs very small and I had to return for an X-Large.After one use, I am a little disappointed. The foam core seems to be getting bunched up on the inside which makes the vest awkward to wear. The foam bunches up in areas and leaves nothing under some areas of the outer fabric. This makes the vest tight in some areas and really loose in others. I figured spending a hundred dollars this wouldn't be an issue. I think after a few more uses, it might be totally done for.

NOT a life jacket! Read before you buy! (Not like me...)

YIKES! As a new boat owner gathering life jackets for our adventures I wasn't aware that I needed to make sure the language of the item posted included "USCG Approved Type III"jacket. This jacket is NOT approved for anything. It says specifically in the jacket "cannot be considered a safety vest or a life preserver" and should only be worn by someone in a competitive environment where there are patrol boats and pick-up boats close by for safety. Nice jacket. Completely worthless for most people. :(

Originally ordered a Medium and it was much too small for my husband. Set it back and ordered an XL and it fits perfectly. Sizing def runs small because my husband is far from being an XL!

Really great fit. Had the same model and lasted almost 10 years. The only problem is the material around the arms its a bitt harsh on the arm skin while slalom skiing.

Beware of the size!

I wear an XL wetsuit, having heard they run small, I ordered XX-L. I can barely get it zipped without my wetsuit on, tight around the shoulders and the belly. If I need a 3X-L what do bigger guys use?

Awesome!

This vest is awesome. It is very comfortable, and it still keeps you a float, just not as good as the other vests. I would recommend this vest to anyone.
