Almost perfect for us!
This thing is great, plain and simple. I just tested it out for the first time and it heated the water to temperature instantly with the burner not even half way. Granted, I did start off with 75 degree water because I live in South Florida (which is where we do most of our camping). Within seconds the water coming out of the shower head was perfect for a hot shower. It was packaged perfectly and all seems well. There are 2 reason it doesn't get the 5 stars. The first reason is that the water pressure isn't great. Yes that means you conserve water which is key in camping situations so not that big of a deal really (as long as the pump lasts, if it doesn't last then it's a 3 star product to me. The 2nd reason it doesn't get the 5 stars is that it really should have a recirculating system at the shower head, which I will be installing, so instead of wasting water and speed showering it can be routed back into the water source. For $15 more, this could have been part of the product.I guess Zodi thinks that most customers will shower nude in the open and can just drop the shower head back into the water source while they lather and then pick it back up to rinse. That isn't my case. When the family camps, we use a privacy shower shelter. The Zodi, propane tank, water source and pump are all going outside of the privacy shelter so that's why recirculating is important. I guess Zodi's concern can also be that someone wont realize a disconnected hose while recirculating thus maybe damaging the unit. Regardless, I'm adding the diverter valve and hose. I also placed foil tape on the hose ends near the unit since some people have had issues with the hoses melting. I hope doing that will deflect some of the heat from melting the hoses. Lastly, I did opt for the 20lb. propane tank attachment because I felt that it would add much more stability to the system so it doesn't tip over if someone tugs on a hose or if it's windy. I went even further by placing the propane tank in a milk crate as well. I have zero worries that the unit will move. That was important for me since I'd be inside the privacy shelter unable to see the unit. I heard about pumps failing so I bought an extra to have on hand. I am one of those overly prepared folks. Overall, it's a great system. With $15 more spent on the diverter valve and hose and the added 20lb tank attachment, it makes it perfect.

Melted rubber hose
Was very excited to use this product and initially was a great buy. However, after use by 7 people, the black rubber outlet hose from heater melted. There has to be a better design for that outlet hose or some metal extension?

I will Say it does heat it up the water to the point of scalding and that's nice for dirty dishes but not the body
This thing is so dangerous! I bought this a couple of years ago and was severely burned on my foot and leg while trying to take a shower! It's has so many design flaws and is very unsafe! You can not control the heat on this thing!! Use with extreme caution! I willSay it does heat it up the water to the point of scalding and that's nice for dirty dishes but not the body :-). Also the solar shower bags seems to have just as much pressure from the nozel and this one is motorized! One last thing, when we took the batteries out when I was boxing it back up to return it, most of the components were already rusted after a 4 day camping trip. High disappointed!

Perfect for a long camping trip!
After searching for a camp shower and reading some reviews on this product, I bought this over all the others simply because of how convenient it looked for set up and to get hot water any time.I love this Zodi camp shower and so did my family. It was very convenient for our 3 day camping trip this past weekend. We had hot water for showers, washing dishes and hands. The things I had issues with were the lid that is used as a stand isn't as stable if you're on uneven grounds and the battery pack for the pump is finicky. You have to keep messing with the battery pack but those are just minor issues that can be fixed. Other than that, I had no problems with the hoses or connection. I would definitely recommend this to any outdoor adventurers.

Love it
Amazing!! Got this for festivals and camping. It works great, gets reeeaallllyy hot but you can adjust the temp. Can use the case for a full shower with washing my dreads and it's enough. Really love it and take it everywhere!! It's heart for dishes, dogs, you, anything you need hot water forNegative... The case does not have a rubber liner so you lose some water if you use it to haul water. Wish it had a linerLove it otherwise

the heater portion of this system works perfect. The pump- that’s a different story
Well, the heater portion of this system works perfect. The pump- that’s a different story..... weak! If the want to take a shower sitting on the floor.. you’d be great, but no one wants to sit in filth, the pump does not have the ummpf to get the water UP the tube... then the smell... the hose gets hot then SMELLS.. at this time even after spending the money- will be keeping and handy Hubby will be modifying. Thought this would be great for camping... just ok.

Stuck with a loser! Buyer beware.
First use was after the return window closed. I think the unit is defective. Heat part works great...fantastic hot water. No pressure though, barely a trickle. I am very discouraged. I reviewed several sites for feedback and this unit had mixed reviews but some really liked it. I sure did not work for me, and now I am stuck I guess. Buyer beware.

Low flow of water at the shower head if you want a warm shower.
With a single burner you need to restrict the flow of water passing through the heater to have warm water at the shower head. Considering the cold lake/stream waters in the Sierra mountains, this requires you to restrict the flow to the point of VERY low flow at the shower head.I piggybacked a dual burner with the single and added a bit nicer shower head, this worked very well.
