THE FOLLOWING PERTAINS TO THE ORIGINALLY BOUGHT ITEM***When the time came to replace the cartridge that originally came with my Philips AWP1775CH, the possibility of water passing through additional filtration stages, a feature of several competing brands, really intrigued me. I noticed how similar in appearance this Silky Rain model was to the original, wondering if their dimensions matched and if yes, could it be used instead. So I decided to take a chance and ordered one over the standard Philips AWP175 3-stage replacement, thinking if the new cartridge didn't fit Amazon would hopefully accept its return without too much trouble.I can indeed confirm this happily sits without issue inside the 1775CH and 1775WH filters exactly like the original Philips-branded part, and I was more than relieved that it works just fine.UPDATE 31/3/2024: although this has functioned consistently well over the last 6-plus months, I admit to not being entirely sure if any real difference is made to my water. I've wondered about this ever since I first bought the complete filter set. Since posting this review I've purchased water testing strips, the results showing some variation between filtered and unfiltered samples but the differences were slight. I believe electronic water quality testers give more accurate results, were they more affordable I'd get one. However I will keep using these Silky Rain cartridges from Zyrocco, on the basis they could be doing me some good.

Cleaner Water for Your Shower/Bath
Easy to replace the old cartridge with new one. Fits and works as expected: no harsh chlorine smell, less limescale all around and it's something my household sticks to for some time now - it definitely brings a lot of benefits such as less shampoo, shower gel and such used as the products lather better when using a filter, less cleaning products as residue doesn't accumulate as fast and in my case - my hair feels a lot better and doesn't get oily as fast as it did before we started using water filters in the bathroom.

You cannot unscrew the filter to replace the filter cartridge. You need to order the entire filter.

Fits as regular but doesn’t last as long
These fit the same as the OM ones. Simple pop out and replace this one following the instructions.Since I live in an area of high lime scale I find filters don’t last that long as is but this one didn’t last quite as long as the original one. However for the value of the filter, I would probably just get these again as better value in my opinion.
