I got this to use for when I'm canning hot-packed foods. I like to can in large batches, but can't fit my biggest stock pots on the stove with my pressure canner. This extra burner solved that problem easily. No more reaching around a hot canner for smaller, simmering pots. I've burned myself more than once doing that, and have the scars to show for it.This burner was very easy to use, is lightweight and very portable. The case is nice, but seems a bit flimsy. I'll only be using it at home, so it'll be fine on a shelf, but if you plan on taking where it might get jostled around a lot, I don't know how well it'll hold up.The burner itself warped slightly when the butane was locked into place, but flattened out once the stockpot was on it, and was stable and sturdy during use. It didn't wobble or slide on the counter, either. The ignition worked fine for me and the flame was easy to adjust to any level I needed. When I was finished using it, it cooled down quickly, and it was easy to remove the butane cannister, wipe the burner clean, and put it back in the case until my next canning session. I'm probably going to get a second one to make canning even more streamlined, and it's always good to have a backup in the event of an emergency.I love that this burner is safe to use indoors, and hope to be able to can outside with it in the summer months. My only concern is that I don't know if it could handle the weight. I have an All American pressure canner that, when fully loaded, holds 7 quarts and 7 pints. That's a big ask from such a lightweight, portable burner. The canner itself is quite heavy, but add a gallon and a half of water and all those jars? 😬 I'll update if I dare give that a try. On the other hand, I won't hesitate to do single-tiered batches with a water bath canner on it!

Good for camping. Decent quality. Used a couple of times with no issues.

I haven’t feel tested it yet, but has great power and Boils water fast. I liked it better than my Coleman burner because the great grip the pan slightly so I don’t have to worry about them slipping off.The negatives would be the carrying case is a bit thin/flimsy & doesn't really offer low settings (difficult to put on low without the flame going out). Would be nice if it had a broader range of heat levels.

Very nice and easy to use.It boiled a 4 qt pot of water for my pasta in minutes.It has a flame adjusting knob that goes from very low to high nicely.Perfect size BTU for all purposes.I highly recommend this stove.Please note : I had to order the butane gas from Home Depot because they don't ship that in my area.

This is a really great little cook stove. Comes in its own carrying box and it's just the right size for camping or just having a cook stove for outside. It uses butane and not propane. Though they do make a model that uses both. This one specially only uses the cans of butane. I like it because it fits inside the little insert which has a cover. Just seems safer than having a 1# propane bottle hanging off the side. This buddy cooks too. Puts out a good amount of heat and has very good adjustment for between high and low flame level. Also has auto start ignitor that works great. I recommend this one.

Butane loses its energy after long term storage. Recommend fresh purchase for camping, etc.Not for prepping supplies.
