It took more than 2 years to do the authentic copy of a leather jacket, used exclusively by the commanders and officers of the DEUTSCHE KRIEGSMARINE - U-BOOT WAFFE (navy submarines) during WW 2 1939-1945, which mainly where deployed in the bad weather zones of the Atlantic and Biscayan. As said, our navy submariners leather jacket is an authentically copy of the German navy submarine officers leather jacket, with the best possible materials available in the today's markets. To keep the jacket as authentically as possible, we are using flexible cow hide leather, warm fleece inner lining, and KRIEGSMARINE (navy) 100% solid metal buttons, with embossing (inside) KRIEGSMARINE (all buttons used with counter buttons for more stability). The jackets have 2 inner pockets for large and heavy objects and elastic inner cuff's to protect against the wind. Getting a size up then your normal size
My dad who is a 87 years old a retired Captain for Sealand He traveled all over the world He mentioned wanting a U boat coat he is 6ft 216 lbs He usually takes 2x but reading some reviews We decided to get the next size up as it could be tight around shoulders We got a 3x. We got it pretty fast, within 8 days Im so glad we did His chest measurement was 43 his waist is 42 and we figured European sizes may run smaller Thanks to the person who left the review My dad is very pleased with it It is very well made It has nice buttons inside the original anchors on the button There is pockets on both sides, inside of the coat It is heavy enough for Maine winters !! He really is happy with this He now is looking at your magazine to see the next thing he can buy

Beautiful coat, I went up three sizes.
Beautiful coat excellent quality. I’m 6’1 and 195 lbs. I initially ordered a 2xl which was too tight. I returned it for a 4xl which fit perfectly. Sleeve length was not a problem.Customer service was excellent and the return was simple and very quick. I highly recommend Noble House.

The U-boat jacket (size medium)
This product gets a five star rating from me. The jacket has a nice leather on the exterior and a blue fleece lining that makes it quite comfortable and warm. Additionally, mine came with a patch and a brochure of Hoble House’s other items. Simply put, it’s a very nice jacket

I’m very pleased indeed! Arrived well in advance of schedule and was beautifully packaged. The accompanying paperwork and additional information labels added a nice classy touch. An impressive and attractive brochure covering their entire range was included. Very much a quality garment, well constructed from quality materials and is an excellent match for the original U-Boat design. There are 6 more than ample and spacious pockets and the internal lining is well designed and made. Excellent buy!

I'm really pleased with the jacket
I'm really pleased with the jacket, the quality and detail are fantastic and the customer service from Noble House was exemplary. It arrived from Germany within three days; unfortunately I had to return it as the size I had ordered was too large but the company exchanged it immediately and I had a replacement within the week. Order one size up from your usual and you should be good. There are cheaper reproductions available but the quality of this jacket really is worth the price. Highly recommended.

Much too small
Much much smaller than advertised size. Leather also smelled of chemicals which seemed to burn or numb my finger-tips. Leather very soft and porous, was expecting tougher hide which water (U-Boat) might slide off. Goods returned at my expense, £36, UPS not cheap. An expensive mistake. But quality seemed very good, if you have a stick-insect physique and thick skin.

Great jacket, good quality and very warm
If buying the U Boat jacket, then go a size larger. I bought my usual size, Xl, but had to exchange for an Xxl which fits perfectly. Noble house were very prompt in sending the exchange. Great jacket, good quality and very warm. Would definitely buy fro Noble House again.

Nice coat but not going to work above 2-3xl
Beautiful JacketBut cut on 5xl does not suit with the size.They increased the girth but not the length to suit.Simple fact is style will not suit
