This thing has saved my hide more times.
Holds up pretty well if caught in the rain by mistake, and it is very well insulated. Make sure to check out a comprehensive guid on how to take care of these sleeping bags and they will take good care of you. Just a fair warning: these bags tend to get really hot around the feet if your not careful. I personally found it impressive that I had to open the bag to cool off OUTSIDE in the dead of winter. Don't cheap out on sleeping bags unless you plan on camping out in your living room.

Temp ratings seemingly made up
So, I used the 32 degree blue two tone version and was cool but not cold at an outdoor temp of 44 F. I have to specify I slept in sweat pants, two sweatshirts, wool socks, and a beanie and slept on an R5 rated insulated Klymit sleeping pad. I’m also a warm sleeper. Your mileage may vary but I feel like they’re reaching when they rate it at 32 in the listing (bag says 32-59F comfort and 23F limit, 14F extreme. You might get to the middle of that comfort range with warm clothes and an insulated sleeping pad. Later I bought the brick orange 15 degree bag (bag reads 32-50 comfort, 15 F lower limit) and my wife used it in mid to low 60 degree weather and was comfortable in a tee shirt and shorts. Temp ratings seem inconsistent or just guessing my the manufacturer. The blue one was also slightly tight around my shoulders but I wear an L to XL men’s tee so I’m not exactly small- the length was actually great for a 6’ person. Overall, for its price, it’s not bad (hence the second bag) and it’s not crazy heavy but it is not light at 3.6# (I didn’t verify that but it seems close and ultralight bags can cost 8-10x this bag). It would be fine for backpacking in reasonably warm weather on a budget but I bought a higher quality bag for cold weather use. I had no issues with any of the stitching or zippers- I only dinged it because the temp rating feels off to me but, knowing what I’m getting, it’s not a bad bag.

Top quality, awesome insulation, probably the best choice.
Yeah I just spent the last three nights in 0° f snow weather inside of a tent in Colorado with this sleeping bag and I can confirm that from 0 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit you might need a blanket for your toes. Other than that this sleeping bag is so solid and has been so useful to me in the last 3 years and hopefully more although there are a few ribs on the sleeping bag due to sleeping outside because this passport sleeping bag is just so warm. There really isn't another sleeping bag at this price with the superior quality. If you're looking at buying a sleeping bag this is definitely the best option for the price range. If you're looking at getting a $30 or $40 sleeping bag dude trust me just spend the extra 20 bucks you'll be set.

Works way better then expected
Took this on a moto camping trip up to Lincoln national forest in New Mexico temps got down to the mid 20s with a windchill at 8,500 feet to spite my tent not venting and causing me to wake up wet from condensation I was still warm enough to be somewhat comfortable I was no longer toasty like I was at 50-40 degrees but I was plenty warm to keep me alive if you need a little something extra bring a down blanket or stuff some hand warmers in your pants but honestly get a better bag if you want to camp in temps that low we did not expect to but the bag kept me comfortable enough and alive even when it got soaked on the outside in sub 30 temps I also never got wet at all inside of it. For the price would buy again and I would say it truly has a 15 degree survival rating but remember you will be alive but not comfortable

To me, not quite the same shell material as in the photos
It appears to be a very comfortable bag. Got in it and nice and warm , good size and comfortable. The reason I marked it as a 3 star however is because, in my opinion, the shell of the product used in the photos seems to be made out of a slightly different material. I know its hard to tell certain things from photos, but to me, the photos show a much softer shell material. Like when you go to REI or cabelas and feel the shell material on the bags there, they are very soft and pliable. The shell on these are much stiffer material and not comfortable. Also the bags in the photos are fluffed up a lot more than in actuality. That being said, for the price, its still a good deal, unfortunately I will probably not be using this one as my main bag however.

Comfortable and warm
I bought the sleeping bag for a homeless friend that's living in his broken down truck with his dog. He said getting tangled in blankets while he slept was too confining and claustrophobic in the small space in his truck so he asked for a sleeping bag. He told me the sleeping bag is more comfortable, warmer and less restraining than the blankets. He's able to tuck his feet into the sleeping bag, zip it up and be more comfortable sleeping in an upright position in the confined space of his truck. He is so much happier with his Bessport mummy sleeping bag?

A welcomed gift.
I bought this for a homeless person. He was happy to learn how low of temperature the comfort zone is. I'm sure it's serving it purpose and keeping the young man warm.
