Q: Will this work on Mac running Catalina?

I had the same problem trying to connect this mouse to a m1 MacBook. According to the instructions, you should use the codes 1234 or 0000 - neither worked. Instead, once you have pressed the connect button on the bottom of the mouse until the blue light flashes, just press connect without putting a code into the text box - just leave it with the faded grey 0000 which is initially shown when the window opens for connection. Worked for me- hopefully it works for you.
