Working construction your are constantly going through batteries. But they are not cheep. I have tried OEMS and others I find these work the best and last the longest. They are not the fastest to charge but that’s a good tinge with batteries a fast charge equals a quicker replacement cycle. They were a good deal here a lost less expensive, definitely recommend if your using them a lot.

I bought these to use with my Ridgid SeeSnake camera. The batteries fit and work great. Substantially cheaper than the Ridgid battery and charger.

The best Amazon price on a pair of genuine Makita 18v 4.0ah Lithium Ion batteries is $140. For $125, you not only get the two batteries ,you get a charger and a pretty decent bag. It's a no-brainer. I already have this "starter kit" with the two batteries, charger, and bag. I wanted to get another battery, but single batteries cost nearly as much as a pair (about $100), so I might as well get two. I don't need another charger or bag, but $125 to buy another starter kit with two more batteries sounds a lot better than $140 for just a pair of batteries. The original starter kit I got works great. The charger charges, and the batteries hold a strong charge for a long time.

Best deal on Amazon. Now I have an extra charger for the price of just getting batteries.

Makita original products are simply the best. Not the cheapest but excellent durability.

No matter what size Makita LXT battery you shop for, you're going to see prices at the $20 per ampere-hour rate--sometimes significantly higher. Thus, getting two 4 Ah batteries for $105 (roughly $13 per Ah) was an opportunity not to be missed. The only downside is that the package includes a charger and a carry bag, neither of which I need. Those items make this an even better deal for people who need them, but I would have preferred saving another $20 or $30 and bought only the batteries.
