I bought several sets of these a few months ago to pack up my library because we are building a house and moving. I wanted to make sure I had them for when I was ready to start packing. I have a bunch of broken totes and I’m pissed. Unfortunately, I waited too long to open the boxes since I wasn’t ready to pack yet and now I can’t return them. I have a huge in home library and will need many dozen more of these types of boxes but I won’t be buying this brand again. This isn’t the first time this happened but I was able to return them before because I bought them the last time we moved. Those worked great but this batch seems to be made a lot cheaper and are real flimsy. Even the seal in the lids of this batch are really loose. I’m not sure my books will make it in storage with this bunch. I have tens of thousands of books to pack up and now I need to find another company that hopefully makes a better product. When I first found these in 2020, they were really sturdy and worked great to protect my books for a cross country move. In 2025, as cheap as they are made, I’ll be lucky to make it from the house to the moving truck without them falling apart. I’m really disappointed that the quality has gotten so poor.

I bought these because we are moving - and they are the prefect size for packing and loading. Once we’re in the new house, they will become permanent storage for a wide variety of items. The first box arrived - no problem. My second order arrived with a few of the handles broken. As long as there are 2 working handles, the box works fine.

I originally bought a few of these in clear from the Container Store and really liked how strong and well made they felt. Other storage bins I’ve used tend to crack easily if dropped or just wear down over time. These feel solid and durable. When I needed more, the size I wanted was out of stock in black at the Container Store, so I checked Amazon. Not only was it available, but shipping was faster. I ordered the 6 pack in black and everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They stack neatly, the latches are strong and easy to use, and the gasket seal adds a nice bonus since it helps keep moisture and dust out. I’ve already bought more and will keep buying these as I continue organizing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for bins that can actually hold up over time and not fall apart after a few uses.

One of the locks was broken on this. I wrote to the company and they sent a replacement within a week, so great customer service. I bought these to hold 1kg spools of PLA filament, thinking I could fit 4 spools in each. Unfortunately the interior of the boxes are closer to 15" long, not 17" long, so I can only fit 3 spools per box, a bit disappointed about that.

Item was delivered with a damaged lid. Per Amazon's instructions, I reached out to the manufacturer who promised to replace the broken lid, but 5 weeks later it still hasn't been done and they have no information when, or if, the damaged lid will ever be replaced. Nothing but vague emails indicating they will update me "when they have more information". Clearly isn't concerned about their customer.

These are terrific, I have 5 or 6 different sizes of these storage bins. They are sturdy and offer various useful sizes. Unfortunately, there have been broken trim pieces upon arrival (during shipping) but it was minor enough where I didn't worry about it. Highly recommend these bins much more than the thin/cheap bins that you can buy elsewhere, which end up breaking when you fill them up.

They are nice but unfortunately cuz of the way they are shipped the snap closures break off during shipment. They break off and the little peg that is to keep them in place broke off so they don’t close tightly. I had 3 of them broken.

These Iris brand containers are really nice! The plastic walls are the right thickness which makes them seem strong, sturdy, ready to last. And, there are 4 locking latches on each lid. One thing I REALLY LIKE is that there is a foam "gasket" on the underside of the lid perimeter. After you place the lid on the box and apply the latches, the lid becomes sealed to the box. I bought 2 sizes of these to store tax documents and letters in my attic- so I needed a storage containers that would "seal" thereby preventing bugs, dirt and humidity, etc. from entering the containers. I originally bought another brand of cheaper containers made of styrene, but they arrived broken so I sent them back.. You really get what you pay for- so skip the cheap containers and get these IRIS containers instead!
