Very easy to change and great replacement part.
I changed this on my SUV in 45 minutes and it works great. I saved over $1300.00 doing it myself thank you Amazon!

2012 SRX working as it should
The 1st pump died when I pressed the lift gate button. The motor portion of the pump started smoking and became inoperable. I submitted a replacement, it came a week later (fast for Hawaii). As of right now it’s working as it should. I’m not sure if it’s louder than the OEM. I’m satisfied it’s working again. This pump will last long just like OEM pump (manifesting). Otherwise, I will updated the review (stars). Lastly, It’s plug and play w/fluid so kudos for that. I’m returning the fluid I purchased.

Week or defective part...JUNK!
My liftgate would only raise sometimes and usually not all of the way. So I ordered a new pump. The pump was simple to install. Simply unplug the old one and plug in the new one. After installation, the motor made very loud hinge cracking/popping sound. I thought I had air in my hydronic lines so I removed the new pump an plugged my old one back in. The old pump raised the hatch enough that I quickly realized the sound was coming from the new pump. I sent it back for credit but very inconvenient for me to have to drop it off at the UPS store. I give this pump a thumbs down and will be ordering from a different company.

I had to replace a new defective pump. This one seems to work much better & is much quieter

The wiring with the plug is much safer than the original factory wiring.

Works but noisy
Definitely is nosier than the original GM part but since it saved me from spending $1600 to have the dealer replace it, I’ll deal with the extra noise! Other than that packages arrived quickly undamaged packed well. Easy to install! If it wasn’t for the noise it would be a 5 star
