I will never use one of these again. While they are notorious for have a short lifespan, I had yet to have one that leaked. One of mine leaked and started a fire in my grill atop the tank. I installed this using two sets of channel locks to ensure it would not leak. I checked it with my gas leak detector (https://a.co/d/9QOIuNp) as well. However, a leak occurred at the male end of the gauge about four hours into use, causing my grill's flame size to suddenly increase, and a subsequent fire at the point of the leak atop the tank. So yes, the intended flame significantly increased in size, and there was a fire at the gauge connector. I turned off the grill and threw water on the tank to extinguish that fire. Grill and gauge are now both on their way to the dump. The second of the set is going as well. i will never purchase one again.
