Momo Hardcover – August 13, 2013

I have read Michael Ende ever since I was a little kid, and I still enjoy his books even today. Momo is one of my favorite books at all time. I really think he's quit an under rated author. He's such a great writer, his books are full of magic and wise life experiences, I introduce him to my kids now, they really love it. I hope more and more people find the charm of his books, and hope his stories live on!

This is a seriously charming story with a lesson about time that should not be lost. I heard of this book in the K-Drama My Lovely Sam Soon, and was intrigued by the premise described. I was not disappointed. This book can be enjoyed by adults as well as children.

I read this book aloud to my daughter, and we both enjoyed it. I thought this new translation was great, very readable. Made me feel like I did when I read the German original in my own childhood. Great memories, great story.

I have loved this book since I was a pre-teen (which was over 30 years ago!). I was so happy to get my own copy and share it with my family. I look forward to when my children can read this. It taught me so many great life lessons regarding the importance of listening, living life in the moment, and following your life's purpose.

A lesser known but equally brilliant Ende novel. This is a brilliant fairy tale that is really enjoyable and fun to analyze (if you're into that sort of thing). Hard to find, look out for Spanish versions, I think it was translated but I'm not sure.

I read this book when it first came out in the 80s, and it has stuck with me ever since. I'm so glad to see it's back in print, so I can buy more copies and share it with friends. It offers a wonderful, yet simple, comment about our rush-rush world, and the harm it is doing to us.

Wonderful story that can be read over and over. It was very difficult to find an English translation until the most recent edition, it was well worth the wait.

Pretty much my favorite book ever since childhood. The translation contains a few errors, e.g. the "turtle" should have been a tortoise, but that's minor. I'm not going to go into the story since others have done that. I am giving only 4 stars because of the drawings that are totally wrong. Apparently the illustrator hasn't even read the book. There is a clear description of Momo at the beginning but what the illustrations show is some 1960's fashion plate! Very irritating.

El pedido llego súper rápido, de un día para otro, genial Amazon.Respecto al libro, lo compre para mi hija, para su lectura en casa. Le pidieron la Historia Interminable para el colegio y como recordaba de este autor el libro de Momo también se lo cogí, para nuestra sorpresa la profesora a decidido que después de la primera lectura continuaran con este gran libro.

I read this book when I was a child, in Spanish, and I wanted to read it again in English.I am very pleased with the customer service from River City Books, they have been very helpful!! I would definitely recommend buying from them and, of course, I highly recommend this book to anyone, both children and grownups!

Es un clásico de la literatura infantil que sigue maravillando a los niños. Hemos leído muchas historias, pero de todas, a sus 11 años, ésta ha sido la que más le ha encantado y motivado a leer más. ¡Muy recomendable!

Llego bien , tenía buena pinta pero en otro idioma, pero fue culpa mía🤗
