PelusoMT67/87N Quality Shock Mount Fits Neumann U67/U87 (Nickel Finish)

I was nervous about this mount based on the few reviews below, so I emailed Peluso directly. And Who responded right away... but none other than Mr. Peluso himself saying that they have sold 1000s of mounts and the folks that are complaining may have tried to screw them into cheap mic stands or stands with non-standard threads. So I bought one and it is great. No issues at all. Fit all three mic stands I tried it on perfectly. It's super solid and heavy made of thick metal. Holds my vintage U87 like a charm. Handles the weight well. I didn't wanna put my 87 in a cheap mount no name mount. Am really glad I went with this one. And Vintage King shipped it right away.

the shock mount shipped on time but had a defective inner thread. I all but destroyed it trying to get the thread out so it would screw onto my mic stand.. never ended up being able to get it unscrewed.. Now I cant even send back because it is damaged.. very disappointed..Way too expensive also.. Buy a Studio Project shock mount C series.. only $24.95. I did and it works great.

Yes, the threads are messed up. I thought I was the only one!

As others have noted, the threads are useless. I found one mic stand that was able to interface with it (of about 20 that I tried). The Euro/American adapter that comes with it won't even fit the threads. Requested a refund and the seller accommodated the request, which has been about the only positive thing about this purchase.

The threads on the part that is supposed to screw onto a mike stand are the wrong size. So far I haven't sound a single mike stand here that this thing will screw onto and not just fall off.

Threads stripped within a few weeks of use. Avoid.
