Russell Hobbs 25710 Velocity Blender - Soup, Milkshake and Smoothie Maker with Removable Blades, 1.5 Litre Jug, 750 W

This is the best blender I have owned and I have been through a number. This is also the most expensive blender too so maybe that has something to do with its quality.I read some negative reviews about the soup/warm contents and the top being a problem - keep your hand on the top (which is a sensible thing to do with any blender) and you'll be fine. It has a fairly secure lid but it isn't screwed of secured on in any other way that pushed in, so when the heat expands the air inside, the pressure will build up and try and push the lid off therefore keeping the lid pushed in helps prevent this.It blends ice well and makes great frappes and soomthies. It also grinds up oats well.Overall, a good product.

This is a brilliant blender. Ignore any unfair reviews because some people are impossible to please! It’s exceptional quality, the glass jug is a really good size and it is very sturdy. It’s so quick to set up, use and clean.. I wouldn’t say it was overly noisy, it’s a blender! It’s so elegant and looks really posh on the work top. With a 3 year guarantee (register extra year online once you’ve receive the item) it’s amazing value for money.Delivery was super fast and packaged as expected. Well done Russell Hobbs!

Very easy to set up. Very easy to clean, most of it goes straight in the dish washer. Blends to a very smooth consistency. Love that it has a glass jar, the main reason I chose this one.There is just one downside... the lid is not completely water tight, I have used it when the ingredients are not even to the maximum and it spills out the sides which is very annoying and quite messing. Such a shame because it had the potential to be perfect!

Goes well in my new kitchen.Blends well. Very easy to clean.Great for making lots of healthy, high nutrient, breakfast juices.The motor smelled quite a bit at first, though it is reducing each time, as I continue to use it.Other than that, it does a grand job, and I'm very pleased with it.

Two years on and this blender is still working well.Very easy to clean as everything comes apart and can be put into the dishwasher.

Good blender. Foolishly poured boiling water into the jug trying to remove dried on pancake mix.Jug shattered.Less than one year old.Guy on helpline useless. Told me there were no spares in, and none coming in.When I asked what I was to do with the base, he said he couldn't advise me anymore.There are no spares for this model at all. Even 3rd party spares providers don't recognise the model number.I have to wait for Complaints to get back to me. he couldn't put me through because thats not company protocol!£62 up the Swanee.

I love how easy it is ti clean it. And all the smoothies I make ❤❤❤But oh boy the smell... From the first try there was a melting plastic smell. We use it very carefully, after few months it still works, but it's just not cool when you have to be always on alert to make sure that the machine would work longer. It is a good piece of equipment but I would not buy again.Oh, and it says that it crushed nuts and frozen berries. It does but not completely. You still left with peace you have to chew. Not a big deal but a bit of a bummer.
