I have had collapsible umbrellas before but they never last very long, as the ribs always buckle in the wind or the stitching comes apart. This is an excellent piece of kit. I've never had the automatic ones before so I got a bit of a shock when opened quite rapidly and the fact that it folds itself up again is quite novel. Well made and neatly stored in its own case. Well worth the money.

This umbrella is great , i have used it almost every day since i got it. Perfect size to keep in my backpack when walking the dog. Very easy to use with one hand especially helpful when you have a dog lead in the other hand. It is very sturdy too , will withstand some winds , if its a big gust of wind there is the chance that the umbrella will turn inside out but it will go right back into shape after and doesnt bend or break like all the other cheap umbrellas. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes walking in the british weather and wants a small compact umbrella with a leather case but wants the protection from a large umbrella aswell

Loving by the seaside, even on sunnier days the wind can be pretty strong - so when we have a downpour a sturdy umbrella is essential! Finally had a chance to test this (like that's a good thing...) and it held up admirably. Not sure how much use I'll get out of it in the upcoming April showers, but if I do take any essential socially distant walks in the rain, I'm sure this will do the job well. Love the pop out and pop back mechanism 😌

Well this is the most expensive umbrella I have ever brought and I am so glad I brought it as it is worth every penny! Great size, so easy to use and in the wind just stays above my head keeping me dry! This will last me years so very pleased with it!If you want to stay dry when it rains just buy it!

So far umbrella has been good. A little heavy at times but keeps me dry. Mechanism works well. Have to use two hands to push handle back in after use which can be inconvenient at times. But overall I am pleased.

In the description it says 426g, which is a little on the heavy side, but its shipping box was over 700g, making the umbrella 500-600g which is overly heavy. When I came to lift it I figured I'd have an aching arm, so I returned it. It didn't fit the description and clearly didn't meet my need.

Bought this for the car, but wife has already pinched it😆😆 feels very sturdy indeed. Hasn't been tested in super strong wonds yet, but so far so good. Easy to put up and down, and I don't think I will have any issues with it at all.Comes with a decent faux leather holder as well.
