I drive a large KIA sorento and have three kids. The boot fills up quickly even for short breaks. I bought this and I have now used it for four long journeys +3000km each. All of them had rain, but the last one was with buckets! I was driving somewhere in Serbia in rain +hale to the point we had to pull over to the side and wait in the car for the rain to ease! Later that night I was watching the pool of water forming on top of the bag all night! I was sure the water had found its way in. After 4 days of driving in rain I opened the bag. Bone dry everything! The bag hadn't moved an inch! The straps still strong! Honestly what else do you want from your roof box? I tend to put lighter boxes less than 7kg each at the front to fill it up and raise the edges. It holds a lot, you will be amazed how much! The only limitation is how much weight your roof can hold. It should be evenly distributed to keep the box at shape. One thing to remember is that all items in the box will slightly move backwards, so its important the items at the back wont break. As you can see from the photo I put the box IN BETWEEN the roof bars directly on the car's roof. I then tie the straps all 8 at the bars. In my car the side bars do not allow straps to be tight. The only issue with the bag is its security from thieves. Its dead easy to lift it up as one item or to open up the zip and steal its content. I have left it out in "secured" public and hotel parkings and so far so good! Its always in my mind though! If it breaks I would buy it again without second thoughts!

This bag does the job perfectly and for an amazing price. The material feels thick and high quality and the zips don't come apart if you overfill the bag slightly. The straps are actually much better than I was expecting too, although I still throw a couple of ratchet straps over for peace of mind. Folds down in to a small bag for easy storage. 10/10

Very easy to install on the roof. The cables to tie it down were really long and a bit fiddly to tighten but it didn't slip at all even in the wind and rain. We fitted a large suitcase, 3x camping chairs and a small holdall in the bag and still had room for more! Really great buy for the price.

Nice heavy duty bag. Size listing is accurate. Zipper and velcro work great and tie-down straps easy to use. I bought this to fit inside my roof basket for winter time travel. I've used it in light rain and mist with no issues. I don't expect any problems even in heavy rain or snow. This is well made and was a great buy for me.

This is an essential item in our camping trips, it attaches securely on top of a Prado, although we don’t have a roof rack. It is big enough to take majority of our camping gear (and they are a lot). It takes 3 camping mattresses, a 6 persons tent, tables, rugs, tarps, 2 foldable chairs, 2 padded chairs, luggage and many more things.

First of all, the 4+ rating you see is for Asani product which is/was in sale on Amazon portals of foreign nations which is totally misleading. Seller is using this rating to list out it's cheap product. It is happening so much on Amazon these days which kills our time, effort and possibly money as well and in long term denting image of Amazon. May be in near future some other marketplace will replace Amazon if they only work for profit and customers are ignored. Secondly, because this is not Asani product. A very thin, flimsy, and low quality product was shipped and by keeping in mind the possible rough usage it is totally a waste. There is some level of rubber coatings inside but trust me it is equivalent quality like cheap raincheater you sometimes buy from a roadside shop. It is not sturdy at all, buying this is like making fool of ourselves. Only good thing about this product that it is returnable without much hassles just in case you want experiment with your purchasing experiences. Trust me, this product is not going to match with the description and ratings. Happy shopping and take care!

Really happy we purchased this. Thick material. Excellent on a recent 12 hour trip. Packed up ready for our next trip. Only for soft items. Clothes pillows fat mat. Don't over tighten straps.
