Protein 29 Conditioning Hair Groom Clear Gel 3 oz (Pack of 3)

I have used Protein 29 since college. It is a fantastic hair gel. It doesn't leave my hair greasy, but it holds my hair in place.

My husband was gifted three tubes. They are no longer gel, but runny gloop. I assume that is because they are old. Bought another brand last week.

After being a happy customer of this product in the past, it suddenly disappeared from store shelves in the last 3-4 years. I was happy to see it available via Amazon a couple of years ago, but upon purchasing, discovered the formula had changed and it had gone from a desirable gel to a very undesirable near liquid. As such, I did not order another batch. Recently, I saw it advertised anew from a different purveyor and decided to give it a shot. Low and behold, it was back to the original formula and I couldn't be happier with the recent purchase, so much so that I ordered another batch to ensure I would have ample on hand.

Wow! Used to be a gel product. Now, it's a thin liquid. Will never again buy. Too bad. They had a good thing going.

Hope they don’t discontinue this product. My husband loves it. Does not leave a greasy feel to hair.

I've been using this hair gel for years but it's no longer sold in stores here. Have ordered from other suppliers and been very disappointed to find that their products have been on the shelf so long that the gel has liquified and isn't useful. Royal Meds has filled two orders for me now with good quality. Highly recommend using them.
