Effective and Low Cost
I’m filtering tap water (from lakes) that has too much silt. A 20 micron filter reaches capacity in only a week. Depth filtration is very effective. But, the filter needs to be sacrificed to keep the rest of the filter system working. Fortunately, the cost of replacing the filter is low. Fits in standard 10” x 2.5” canisters.

Good Buy!
Our household uses a lot of these, they work well but do not last as long as suggested on the instructions. The price is substantially cheaper than where I previously purchased filters and the last about the same amount of time. Overall the filters are a great buy and work well.

2nd purchase turned out to be a disaster ...
First 4 pack of filters worked just fine but the 1st filter of this 2nd 4 pack caused major issues with the water system. Almost no water flow/pressure after installation. Replacement with a Pentair Pentek 20 micron pleated filter quickly resolved the issue. Won't be buying these water filters any more. Will stick to name brand filters in the future.
