Gaiters are GOOD PROTECTION
I saw an article recently that snakebites are up, and ticks, and while these can't protect you in every situation, they sure will protect you in quite a few! If you don't have any gaiters, you might not enjoy working in your garden or pasture or hiking in the woods.I don't do a lot of hiking, but there have been deer in the backyard, and this area does have fanged snakes of the venomous variety. Since I spend more time outside, I figured i'd better prepare for the problems that I usually never give a thought to. Hence, gaiters. These are really good. So far, the snakes haven't managed to get in a bite, and ticks get brushed off before they can bite. These gaiters are of good quality. That is what you need. Make sure you have a pair, and don't hesitate to wear them. They have protected me probably more times than I know, and I know of at least 3 times when I'm so glad I had them on. Keep safe out there!!!

A product that does what it say it is designed to do.
These are great. Add an extra layer of waterproofing. I initially ordered a medium byt forgot to consider i would be wearing them over my columboa Snow Maiden snow boots. Ordered a large and they cover the boots perfectly. Likely depends on your calf size.I would recommend connecting the lower strap, then put your boot in place, keeping the brand mane on the outside of your leg, connect the metal clip to your laces, adjust the lower strap so you have proper overlap up the center, lastly adjust the top strap to close.

Poor quality and not sized for Americans.
Where do I start? The materials are very cheap feeling and I doubt they would last through one snowshoeing trip. But for that to be tested I would first have to get them on. I ordered the XL size because I'm tall but I don't have fat legs. Yet these are clearly designed for people of smaller stature. They won't velcro around my boots, too narrow. And the strap won't reach under my boot, too short. And "fleece lined" is a joke. That would imply it has an inner and outer layer. It's just one peice with a fleece like brushed feel on the inside but paper thin and would not insulate at all. If you absolutely are unwilling to spend a few dollars more for something better and you also have the build of a jockey, I guess these could work. Otherwise, pass.

Great for Bitey-Pet Training
The latest abandoned rabbit I've taken in thinks biting is a good way to get your attention, and something that's okay to do when playing with humans. Telling him "no bite" wasn't working, since what he wanted was a reaction and it's hard not to react to a sharp pinch, so I wanted to try ignoring him. No reaction to a bite, and hopefully he'd stop doing it in favor of the more positive behaviors that DID get a response. I bought these to make that possible, and it's been working great! My legs don't get pinched, and he's already licking and nosing more than he was biting. Hopefully we can keep the trend going, and I can save these for hiking.

Great product for the price.
I ordered a set of these and I do go snowsnoeing from time to time or hiking so I figured these would come in handy. I'm not sure if I selected the wrong size or what happened, but their customer service was excellent. I reached out as soon as I received them as I needed an XL and not a L and they followed up and rectified it promptly. That alone for the price I paid warrants a good review. As for the quality they appear to be on par with more expensive gaiters. I guess time will tell how long they last, but for the price even if I get a couple of seasons out of them it is worth it. Also, a bonus for gaiter use is weedwacking/mowing! If it is hot in the summer and you are wearing shorts and don't feel like getting pelted with rocks or sticks/grass you can pop these on your shins real quick and voila no injuries.

Warm, good fit, secure closure!
I purchased a pair of these each for me and my wife. We’ve not yet had a chance to wear them hiking in the snow but I feel confident they will work well when we do. They are very comfortable and the Velcro sticks very well. We were surprised how much warmer they make your legs too. Looking forward to no more wet socks from snow getting in my hiking shoes. We ordered the next size up from what the size chart listed and glad we did. Perfect!

Good Quality
Great filling fabric. They are lightweight and seem to be very durable. The only thing that I am concerned about upon unwrapping them and using them for the first time, is the strength of the bottom strap that goes under your foot. I hope over time it holds up, as the look of it seems a little on the weak side. When using them for the first time I actually forgot I was wearing them. They are very comfortable. Overall a good buy! They shipped fast and they are what they promised.

useful and adjustable
I have now used these with the push mower (thigh high weeds and grass), riding mower (knee high grass and weeds), weed waker, and hiking. All of these (especially weed waking and riding mower) used to throw bits and pieces into my socks and work boots. No longer! I can wear shorts and put the gaiters on and off as needed and they keep my socks and boots/shoes clean. have smaller calf size, but the adjustable makes it fit with out sliding down and with out being tight on my leg. When adjusted to my size, it does not squeeze my leg/calf. The outside easily brushes rather clean after use. the out side material is similar to a ski coat outside.

Somewhat Flimsy
Expected these to be much more heavy duty. Yes they are lightweight which is always a plus when hiking, but I have concerns about their durability through thick outback grass and the Australian bush.
