I was itching for a Naruto game, and thought I might as well get this for my New Nintendo 3ds xl. I'm glad I got it because it's such a fun game.The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's one of its best features. You are treated to hilarious dialogue and wacky facial expressions.In the game, you get to choose between Naruto and Rock Lee's storylines. I have so far played a little bit of both, and can say that both storyline are quite entertaining. I've read that at some point both storylines converge, therefore you wouldn't be able to continue with one until you're all caught up with the other; that's just something to keep in mind. The gameplay is simple, you move from one level to the next, fighting and meeting objectives. One cool feature is that you get to set a goal before each level, and if you achieve said goal the experience you gain once the level is complete gets increased. You can also use the experience gained to level up your character, giving you a good deal of control over your character's skills development. You also get to play some of your other favourite Naruto characters, but only as support; you press a button, they come in, do one attack or something, then leave.The only downside to the game is that players might get bored of having to move from one level to the next just bashing through generic bad guys. But with the diversity of moves that both main characters have, and the features mentioned above, I guess that mainly comes down to each player's patience and inclinations in fighting games.I had some questions before getting this game, and now that I got my answers I will share them in the hopes that they'd be useful to someone deciding on buying this.Is the game in english? Yes, however, the voices used within the fights are the original Japanese voices; such as when Naruto yells "Rasengan". But don't worry, this doesn't really effect the gaming experience unless you like the original voices, like me, in which case it's quite a treat.Is there any exploration in the game? No, it's pretty much just one fight after another.What about the storyline? Naruto's storyline follows the events of Shippuden, while Rock Lee's seems more random.How about the 3D? You can play this game in 3D, but if you decide to switch it off completely you wouldn't be missing anything.Should you buy this game then? If you're a big Naruto fan with a 3ds, then this game is a must have. If you're unfamiliar with the Naruto world and aren't really interested in it, then this game won't really be worth it for you.

I am a huge Naruto fan so I was automatically intrigued by this game and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint! When I was a kid I player a lot of Naruto Ninja Council (mostly 3) and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this game is extremely reminiscent of those games. The chibi anime style is perhaps the thing I noticed first because it looks extremely vibrant and even more so when you turn on 3d. The music is extremely catchy and I didn't found it to be repetitive (you might catch yourself humming one of the tracks actually). I like the Naruto SD anime so I found the story to be very entertaining but if you haven't seen SD then you might be a bit taken aback. Overall it's a really fun game and a must own for Naruto fans (who have a 3ds of course)!

If you were a fan of the spinoff the game's based on, this game is definitely for you. The main draw in fine of this game is of course it's humor as the gameplay isn't anything special, and quickly becomes repetitive. Only having 2 playable characters really grew stale at about the 3hr point, and the game isn't terribly long (about 8hrs) which is why I suggested not buying it new.

They speak in Japanese, I'm not sure if theres some that have english or not but I cannot find a way to change it (not that I want to) for those that want to hear their English voicesThe words are in English when they're speaking in cut scenes.I thought it was just going to be fighting and Lee was a main character so I bought it, even though I prefer games where you can explore areas.This game you can explore some what, its more like just running through a level and getting through, but it is more than just standing in one boxed area fighting opponents.The Naruto Story and Lee Story connect so you cannot just run all the way through one side of the story (you need keys from both characters to enter some levels) you'll see what I mean if you get it.

This game is FUNtastic! I love that they kept their Japanese voices :) the side jokes on this game is definetly a plus! i also enjoy the fact that you can choose to be Naruto or Rock Lee but at certain points you must swap, personally i find that it's a good thing since you get to enjoy both sides at the same time! (: overall this game is cool!

Its good but i beat the game in about 4 hours so its short i guess

I am a HUGE fan of naruto and trust me .... this game is very good .even thogh you will fail many times in some mission it does not get frustratingand is rewarding when you do complete it . its very addictive if i must say . and a MUST have for Naruto fans and 3ds owners

I had it shipped as a birthday present. All I can tell you is that my 9-year-old grandson LOVED it.

The excellent bobblehead baritone characters are amazing. The screening play is excellent and it's laced with humour and fighting. Thoroughly enjoying the boss-battles !
