I would highly recommend buying this product. The customer service is 1st rate. They care about their customers and stand behind there product(s). I have bought a few different compact jump starters and this one is by far my favorite. The carrying case is hardshell so it protects the device and components. It includes a User Manual, no need to download it or try and find the right model. The functionality of the device is great and easy to use. Whether you need a jump start for your vehicle, charge any device that uses a USB like your cellphone, or maybe you need a flash light, this device has you covered. if you are in need of help, it has an S.O.S. light or strobe light. It's compact and yet rugged to hold up to get the job done. You can fit it under your car seat or in the glovebox, it's entirely up to you where you want to store it. I bought this for a gift and my friend told me it was better than having to wait for roadside to come out and jump their battery.

Why do I have 3? One broke after several years, not the products fault, careless handling by a family member and broke the plug (You have to be careful not to yank the charging/jump cord out... ease it out!!). One went to my daughter because she has a battery that's acting it's age, and the one I just bought is to replace the one I gave to her. I use this regularly to jump my old Chevy Truck, 5.3L V8, (sits for weeks without use and has a phantom batter drain). Let it sit connected a few minutes and cranks up. I can get a couple jumps in between charges. Has also jumped my 2011 Yukon 6.2L V8 when left to sit too long in winter with a weak battery. Just a great, reliable and essential part of my emergency tool kit!! MY RECOOMENDATION: Bite the bullet and get a 60W USB C laptop charger to charge it. It charges fast with this and just a trickle charge with the one provided, which is the only down-side, they don't give you a full charger, just the USB C cable. Oh, and the other one I'm going to buy is for my wife's car!

Everything about this unit appears to be of excellent quality. Although I haven’t had to jump start a car with this this yet I have tested the usb ports and the unit charges. I really like that it comes with a cigarette lighter adaptor so you can plug anything that has a cigarette lighter into it. I made one addition to the unit itself. The pack has a triangular orange power button on top. If you just take it out of the case and press that button - nothing happens. There is a small On/Off switch on the side of the unit you must turn on before the orange triangular will work. This may seem like an annoyance, but it is actually a safety measure. When the unit is stored in your vehicle it is possible for something to be left pressing on the top orange button keeping the unit on in storage. The side switch prevents that. However, on a dark rainy night it could be frustrating to be trying to turn the unit on with just the top button. I used a P-Touch and put a label on the unit to make it easier to find the On/Off switch on that dark rainy night (see picture) The second addition to the cased unit is to add a usb-lightning (apple) cable & a usb-micro cable. The unit comes with a usb-c cable to charge the unit, but it can also be used to charge devices the have usb-c connections. So all I can support all 3 common usb connections. (Note: the usb-c cable is not shown in the picture but it is in the unit case) Last, the unit does not come with a usb wall charging / AC block. I added one so no matter where I am I can charge the device itself. I put the 3 usb charging cables and the usb power block in a heavy duty zip bag so when I open the case there is not stuff falling over the place. (See picture) So now I have a good car jump starter and a complete usb battery pack system in one case! Useful for not only a car jump starter, but for power failures, picnics and any other time I need a heavy duty usb solution.

The Nexpow jump box is pretty good. It had no problem jumping a 6.0 V8 with a battery that was dead and had a dead cell. I own three of them and they all work reliably. I took off one star because they all seem to need to be charged every 6-9 months. And if left in the car at under ~10F you will need to put it in your coat to warm it up before it will work, Also if at first the engine only makes a couple cranks, just shut it off and try again after a couple seconds.

This is our 2nd so know we can keep one in each car ... because of course when we needed to use it we forgot to move it to the car we were traveling in. Oops They're small convenient and have a nice little case. I'm never fond of jump starting car to car (because we've seen what people are capable of) this takes some of that away ... Its pretty easy to use and we can bring it on the boat too (hey things happen ... music, plugging in your device to charge - which this can be used for that too I've read) It was a great value with the discount that was available at the time so we were able to get an upgraded one on this purchase vs our 1st one.

Bought this and it turned out to be a great investment. It jump-started our truck with no issues and gives peace of mind on the road. Compact, powerful, and the USB charging and LED lights are a great bonus.
