Works well for all sorts of vinyl overlays, including tail light tints!
I was helping my brother install some vinyl badge and wheel overlays on his Ram and saw a video using this product. Well, it got me thinking about some Lux tail light tints I had bought about 3 months ago. I really struggled with those because they would stretch and warp a bit as I tried to install them and then they’d be nearly impossible to align right. So I had quit on that project but decided to try again with this in my arsenal. Ordered another set and using the slippery fluid made the alignment much easier and gave me time to properly align the pieces without any stretching out. Was very happy with the results. A little goes a long way so I should have bought the smaller container and saved a few bucks but all in all I’m happy with the product.

RAPID TAC II Application fluid
First off, the product works. I used the RapidTac Prep first, then RapidTac II. Yes, it does allow one to position graphics then set them. However, it does not let you slide them around, you have to lift and re-position. It only is a problem with very large graphics. I have used this on race car graphics that were large and I "managed." In the future I will most likely use Slide-On from Phoenix or Classic.

Works great, no odor, easy to apply and works perfectly with vivid pro carbon wrap
Awesome stuff.. don’t know and not care what it is. It works great with vivid pro carbon wrap and that is all that matter to me. The wrap was expensive, so don’t skimp and use “other” stuff. It’s been 3 months since the install and the van has been outside and the wrap still looks freaking awesome. I tend not to rate mediocre only really good a and really bad products. Nuff said.

I used this instead of an alcohol-based dilution to install some paint protection film and found it to be more problematic and less ideal for that purpose. It may be more well suited for vinyl decals/applications. I switched back to alcohol with better results.
